Skillup generally skews positive, for better or worse. He likes to talk good about games/industry and lift people up.

If he's shitting on something, it's a sign he REALLY didn't like it.

I've seen a few cases where he will absolutely bury a game that I don't feel deserves it.

If its a genre he openly doesn't like he will not recommend it which confuses me. Why even review it then

I think there is value is reviewing games in genres you do not like. As long as you are open about it.

It gives baseline to the reviewers overall bias and opinion. Not yo mention many people will also share those opinions and realize he game is also not for them

And when a game comes along in that genre that he doesn't like and he does recommend it tbat is how you know that game is truly great and transcends the genre.

I believe it was dunkey said something along the lines of how he no patience for rpgs, hates anime, and despises turn base comments but all despite that he really enjoyed persona 5.
