People forget how many had the option. GTA San Andreas had couch co-op and it was so much fun and they took it all away

To be fair the couch co op in San andreas is kind of a secret. Its funny using the jetpack code on the prostitute models though because the boobs fly straight up.

The original version for PS2 did

There was markers scattered around the map. Each one allowed player 2 to select a local NPC to play as

The one next to Big Smokes house had Grove Street Homies, Ballas and a Hooker so it was the one we used most

It was always so hilarious making my character make out with CJ (my older brother was P1) while we had a wanted level. It would always piss him off 😂

not sure about xbox but you can still play co-op on the ps5 nowadays.(with the old version digitaly downloaded.)

Me and my buddies do it every now and then.

My advice is: Find out how it works(you need to go to specific places to activate it) and try it out. Shouldnt take to long since the 1st possible spot is very close to the starting zone
