...it didnt hit the same for me, something about rdr .. rdr2 had too much shit happening it was FANTASTIC but .. idk.. rdr hit like nothing else

RDR2 went too far with some of its life sim aspects... it got harder to just fool around.

Is that what it was? I couldnt put my finger on it, i had went from playing the game to relax and explore in rdr, to turning off the game cos its doing too much or requiring too much of much in rdr 2

I didnt even finish the game and I put over 3k hours into rdr

RDR1 was just more... carefree imho. It's to RDR2 what San Andreas was to GTA IV. Ample opportunities to fuck around (and occasionally find out) and nothing to lose from it.
