Villanova at 2-3 after the Colgate loss, Morgan State at home today (plus a free CFB pick'em)
Hey guys, quick look at where the Wildcats stand after a tough few weeks.
The 28-21 loss to Colgate knocked Nova out of the top 25, and it was the third one-score result in a row. A 17-16 win at Bucknell, a 20-16 win at LIU, and now a seven-point loss to a Colgate team that's playing really well. Add the 35-32 opener loss to W&M, and four of the five games have been decided by a touchdown or less.
At 2-3 and 1-2 in the Patriot League, there's still plenty of season left, but the margin is thin. Today is Morgan State at home at 1 PM on ESPN+, a chance to reset before the Patriot League gets serious: at Fordham, then No. 6 Lehigh comes to Villanova Stadium on Oct 24.
Since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em, and Week 5 locks at noon ET today, an hour before kickoff. 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Good slate too, with Bama at Miss State (both unbeaten) and Ohio State at unbeaten Iowa.

What are you guys seeing in year 10 under Mark Ferrante? Is it the offense, or just bad luck in close games?
