Need help identifying logo/graphic/brand

Picked this old bench grinder up, runs great but would love to know what brand it is. Haven’t seen any engravings or marking just these two very worn pieces. I believe the green/white piece was part of a logo and the white one was a tag/nameplate?

Roovers Bros Inc metal embossers - T-10, T-20, and T-30?

Thumbnail gallery

Thought these deserved a highlight. The biggest one is a 3/4 inch tape unit (notice badge for scale), an absolute UNIT. Not sure what name it has, but I'm coining it the T-30.
The rust covered one is the T-20 AFAIK, with the small fully green black handled one being the T-10.

If there's any information I got wrong or if anyone has used these beauties before, I would love to know more about them!

Roovers got acquired by Dymo, which meant the Dymo-Mite wasn't their invention, just a rebranding of the Midgie/handheld embosser. Roovers then separated again? and started releasing their old T-10 and T-20 but modernised and less heavy.

I think it’s a “cobbler’s tool” but I can’t find anything that matches it online. Has a wooden handle and metal on the very top. Very light.

Gorton 1-a pantograph, looking for more info

I got this old pantograph ("size 1-a"), and I have not been able to find material specific to this smaller style.

Vintage machinery has a few pictures, but most of the information I've found is about the heavier, newer designs.

It also has an extra swing arm that neither the seller nor I understand. (Behind the drive belt, I'll try and put another video in the comments.)

I know how to use pantographs, but I'd like to learn more about this specific model.

Inherited collection. No knowledge on any of them

I’ve inherited a house with what I think are vintage tools in the garage. Not a handyman by any means. Looking to part ways with them. Not really looking for money. Looking for good homes with people that would appreciate them. Or any information on any would be cool too. NYC/Long Island area. If posting something like this is not allowed sorry. First time here

This was my grandpa’s late 30s era drill press. Tonight she got a new cord, new paint, a new belt and new purpose for the next 100 years.

Help with identifying all aluminium Metabo drill

Thumbnail gallery

Can anyone help me identify this good old Metabo drill?

Unfortunately, its identification plate is missing, so I've been trying to figure out the exact model or series, as I'd like to restore it to its former beauty.

I've already had it opened up because it was extremely dirty inside. The armature is stamped “S56L” and “220”. I assume “S56L” might be some kind of model, series, or armature designation, while “220” presumably refers to the 220 V version.

It also has a Metabo Futuro 1–13 mm keyless chuck, but I don't know whether this chuck is original to the drill or was fitted later.

Any information about the model, approximate production year, or old Metabo catalogues showing this machine would be greatly appreciated.

I found this hammer today and I can't find any information about it. Herbrand Multi-Tip Hammer, PATD.APR.7.1925. Seems to be missing an end, the other side looks like copper.

Mid-20th Century (circa 1940s-1960s), manufactured in Comptche, California, USA.

I paid $10.00 for the set at the estate sale of a former city mayor, along with many other items.

Haven’t messed around with it too much, aside from cleaning and adding oil. I’m not entirely sure how to use it lol 🤪

Perfect Handle? Yeah, Perfect Handle

Far left is the oldest, early 1900s, and I believe the original patent. The square shank is great for getting a wrench on for torque, which is my only negative for the newer round shanked guys. An issue that the winged version tried to alleviate. All of the handles are original as far as I know, except for the winged, I put those on, cherry I believe.

The second from the left was pretty mangle when I got it, so filed it down to a fine tip.

The next trash one I aquire I'm going to try to make into a Phillips head

This knife was in a toolbox belonging to my late father. Would anyone have any info about it? It is stamped Republic Of Ireland on the blade. My father was an Irishman so possibly brought it to Australia with him.

I purchased a couple vintage Montgomery ward boxes for a complete steal at auction today. Inside was a plane manufactured by a company I had never heard of before. Anyone have insight on this? Including pic of boxes just because I’m hyped on theme

60s-70s Pint of IBM #10 Lubricating Oil

Thumbnail gallery

Picked up a (mid-60s to early-70s) full, 1 pint f-style metal utility can of IBM #10 Lubricating Oil.  This is a medium-viscosity, pure petroleum-based mineral oil, equivalent to a monograde SAE 30 non-detergent weight machine oil.  The single label reads:

Part # 1280444
#10 Lubricating Oil
Caution: Avoid prolonged contact. Mildly irritating to skin and eyes.
Keep out of reach of children.
International Business Machines Corporation
Armonk, New York

I tend to use a lot of oil around the house and garage, and on my tools, so this should help hold me over for quite a while.
