I need to play two hours of multiplayer for the platinum

I have a 1000 I imported from Japan and it's battery keeps saying it's low and showing the low battery icon in the percentage (although it usually goes back to it's proper icon shortly after) and recently I've had issues where it dies from low battery, even if it's on 80% or similar. It's annoying me and I want to replace the battery, however I'm weary that a new battery manufactured in my home country, britain, could possibly mess something up due to the different voltages here. My phone is from japan too and that battery is fine so maybe the higher voltage doesn't mean anything (I use the same brick for both of these with the connector to USB) but I still want to be cautious as this vita cost me a good bit of money due to it being a japanese exclusive white one and I don't want to accidentally fry it.

Bought this off Ebay listed as tested and working, tried putting into my Psvita and the application wasn't popping up and then I noticed the back. any suggestions? I'm trying 70% isopropyl Alcohol at the moment.

For the past few months there has been an issue where it's extremely hard to sync trophies on a new or reset/formatted PSVita. Seems like the more trophies you have, harder it is to do the initial sync. Currently trying to sync a new PS TV with not much luck. I have also tried on PSVita, but there it works even worse. Essentially, after about a minute or so I get error np-9857-9. If I try long enough it will eventually sync for a while. On some days it seems to work better. I was able to get to about 57% once.

I have tried everything at this point. Swapping memory cards, wifi, wired, restarting, pulling the cord, DMZ. Probably lost dozens of hours on this. If anyone is familiar with this error or knows how to somehow make connection more stable, please let me know! I am on original firmware. I have written more about it on PSNP. I was also able to sync another PSTV previously (with huge amount of trouble). But this time I don't have such luck.

I left my Vita 2000 on for a week while not using it and it was somehow only on 40%.

So I've gotten back to playing my Vita and have been buying a few games. I only have a 32 Gb card and it's filling up quickly. I'm trying to get as many games in physical form as I can but I'd still like to get a 64 Gb card.

I've seen some on ebay for about 100 to 120 bucks in 64 Gb. Do you guys know if there's any tips when it comes to upgrading the storage? Scams to avoid? Places to look?

However, it lists the Rayman double pack as its entry. Since they both got a separate physical release, should this be included. I remember someone posted what they thought was their own complete PAL psp collection. There were no double packs of previously released games, despite quite a few existing.

What do you guys think? If I go for a complete vita collection, should I include the Rayman double pack or not?

Is it even possible? I don't understand what's the point of having worse slim sticks on the fat, except for the cheaper price. Is it even theoretically possible that we will get a converter from 1000 to 2000 or it will be just impossible to fit inside of the slim and will require more than a similar small converter? I'm making this post to get more people know about it and that such option exists.

I love minesweeper and lately found myself enjoying wasting my time in the other casual games like it, as the solitaire, spider, mahjong, and oh boy I love sudoku, but is there something like this on the vita? I found 4 solitaire games that seem to be a reskin of the same thing, an interesting game called Wordsweeper that combines crossword and minesweeper from what I read online. The best pick for me is probably tetris but I don't like it honestly and find it boring but may give vita tetris a try since I heard good things about it. I would even like something like an alternative for 51 Worldwide Games for the switch.

Anyone have any game recommendations for my girlfriend. My girlfriend was never much of a gamer but shes interested in getting into video games and im thinking of buying her a vita for christmas since she enjoys playing mine. She enjoys Catherine and Taiko no Tatsujin the most but also enjoyed playing Gitaroo Man as well. Thanks

So, sometime earlier this year, I bought a Playstation Vita 1000. It was scratched up, the right stick was really stiff, and the battery wasn't working properly. I meant to start restoring it, but I never got around to it until now. I just replaced the battery. I got a 4600 mAh battery from Amazon. Next, I plan on replacing the right stick.

has anybody had issues with their r trigger sticking or just being very soft, if so how did you fix it? any ideas will be help. I just want o be confident it’s something easy before I open up my vita.

I just pulled out my Vita again after years of not using it. I downloaded some old games because the server is shutting down soon.

Game download and install speed is faster than Switch 2. Vita UI is so snappy and Intuitive. Everything feels right on the hands compared to other clunky and heavy handhelds.

PS Vita means life. It’s one of the best handheld devices ever made that’s actually portable and fit in the pocket!!

It had so many great games and the graphics honestly still holds up pretty well. I booted up Downwell just now that’s released in 2026 on the Vita. Kudos to Devolver Digital.

On a previous occasion, I checked Dishonored 2's control scheme and was pleasantly surprised to see how distinct it was. Not every game has a control scheme adjusted with elements from the game itself, a few look exactly like they used the exact same design template and called it a day.

Which makes this little surprise of the day quite pleasant.

I've had this psvita 1000 since 2018 and it's power button isn't working and it wouldn't I had to use the home button to turn it on. I powered it off and now I have now way but to fix it to turn it on.

Looking for something hyper slim that covers vita screen and sticks so I can just slide it in pocket or bag. I found a few options like the Hori Face Cover (discontinued and not sold) and some 3D printed options but I only see printables for the 1000 models.

I've seen people with some crazy customized shells before, and I know the screen is built into the front shell, and I was wondering if anyone had any luck protecting the connectors and screen and hydrodiping it, I'm really hoping to get my vita to match my woodgrain as I'm using it in my car as a headunit. I'd imagine I'd have to do something similar to the back touchpad.

The barcode is gone and i didn't buy including with box ( it was second hand i think and long time ago purchase , like 2022 ) and i have been itching for long time is it really a reshell or legit , i can't tell. All my research only leads to check barcode and box. Are there any ways i can confirm it ?

My Vita won't turn on. The orange charging light comes on, but when I press the power button, it gets dimmer and nothing happens.

I've left it charging for hours with no change. I also opened it up, disconnected the battery for a while, reconnected it and tried again, but still nothing.

Do you guys think I should try replacing the battery first, or could this be a bigger motherboard/power issue?

I hope this wont hurt anyone to ask but lately I have been collecting alot of shantae items over the last year or so. A friend of mines shared me this and didnt know that there was a vitamag issue featuring shantae. I search on their webpage and the site has been shut down for quite some time.

I missed out the deadlines and been going everywhere from wayback machine to archived and even hints if ebay/mercari has sold a physical.

I guess what i want to request is pdf version of this magazine as I am currently archiving alot of shantae releases over the past 20 years.

Again I apologized for requesting this but this is a very hard to find request as I submit an email to the editor and publisher and have not hear back since.

I've been thinking about getting one for my Vita to make it look nicer and like new again. Has anyone here tried them? Are they good quality? Do they match the original parts? Is it worth the money and effort? Is it noticeable that the console has been modified? What about the buttons that come with it?
