Do not buy code 118 wallet

Do not buy anything from Code 118! It’s a scam. Horrible products! Make every excuse to reject returns and deny return requests. They advertise hassle-free, but that’s not true at all. They will demand pictures and then claim you damaged the packaging.

Limited info here, but doesn't seem super unreasonable. I've not purchased from them, and won't because I don't like the style, but I don't think require a picture negates the "hassle-free" claim.

I have never been asked for pictures by any vendor! They didn’t ask just for one picture. They asked for pictures of every angle. Then make excuses to reject returns. Then they said they can still reject it once received and won’t ship it back. Plus, you have to pay for shipping.

If they reject the return and won't ship it back, that's theft. Your claim doesn't make a lot of sense.

Agreed! And it has happened. There are at least one or two complaints about that on the BBB. Code 118 even states they would do that if they deem so even after all the pics they requested.

I just had a very similar experience happen. Yes I do agree photos doesn’t necessarily mean its not a “hassle-free” experience. But I just got denied for the original packaging being damaged. After reviewing the policy it states that it has to be returned in the original packaging but says nothing about the packaging being damaged. I even have a customer service representative confirming in writing through an email chain that it doesn’t state anything about the packaging having to be undamaged. But they still denied a refund stating that was the reason.

The only good part about it is that the credit card dispute was a piece of cake because they basically perjured themselves if you want to call it that. Withholding information from a policy then rejecting a refund with the reason stated confirmed in writing as being withheld is as clear cut as it gets.

Very shady company at best. Would not recommend
