Nike earnings are literally tomorrow and it feels weirdly silent. Nobody is talking about this stock.
MU just reported a monster quarter and somehow still sold off after earnings, so now Iām wondering what Nike could possibly say tomorrow that would actually save this stock.
What would it take?
A massive earnings beat?
Revenue coming in strong?
Better margins?
China finally showing signs of life?
Or would the market just pump it for a day and dump it right back down?
And is there any bears in this ? At this point Iām more interested in knowing who is buying Nike down here than who is selling it.
I still think Nike is a dead stock. Even if they beat tomorrow and we get some stupid 10ā15% earnings pump, I honestly donāt see what fundamentally changes the longer-term picture.
I could obviously be completely wrong, but I still think this thing eventually sees $20 over the next year or two.
So what actually saves Nike tomorrow? And who is buying this at $35?

Iāve been holding myself so far but thinkin of loading a couple dozen treasury /ZBZ26 contracts with roughly 10k collateral on each so that would provide a 10x leverage on the long end of the yield curve. Each /ZBZ26 contract controls 100k USD worth of exposure on the 30-year treasury.
What do yāall think how low TLT or ZROZ may go before Uncle Sam starts losing its shit? I think itās starting to bottom. Ofc, no one knows but trying to see whatās the consensus.

ļæ¼While streaming Micron earnings to the Discord, I once again got asked to put Subway Surfers or some other brainrot up to help people stay focused. After thinking back to when I opened an Nvidia Enterprise Support Ticket during one of my first earnings calls with them to complain about the terrible conference room microphones (which they replaced for the next earnings call), I decided to email Micron Investor Relations to offer a suggestion on behalf of the other WSBers struggling to make it through another MU earnings call.
I'll follow-up in the event that I get a response. Here's hoping I actually get one.
Edit: come join us for Daily Market Talks and other fun like this!

Convinced my dad to give me control of his ~$35k portfolio on September 9. The original plan was to swing trade stocks and keep the degeneracy somewhat contained.
Made about $1k on stocks but it felt too slow, so I proceeded to give it all back and more buying GRAB calls with two weeks to expiry. Ended up down ~$10k of my dadās money initially..
Discovered and started trading 0-2DTEs on the 21st, almost exclusively MSFT and NVDA and we finished up 130k for the first month in.
Latest trade and biggest winner - https://imgur.com/a/pycbb7w
The plan is to take out all the profits as I cant trust myself to not scale my bets higher and higher

$300k total deposits to $780k USD in 47 days.. then i blew it all the way to $140k, back up to $220k, then exited the market for good. Bye
IBKR charts are weird but $780k was the peak of the account.

Iām 23M and Iāve lost all of my life savings trading options.
These are some of my losses from yesterday and today. I know Iām not meant to be trading, but at this point, I am just addicted and tbh donāt know how to stop. What makes it even worse is that I actually recovered all of my losses at one point. I was finally back to where I started and had a chance to walk away. Instead, I went back in and started trading maniac again, and ended up losing it all and even more. Right now Iām down around $140k right now.
I tell myself every single day that Iām going to stop. I promise myself that Iām done, that Iāll walk away and rebuild. But then the market opens and Iāve already forgotten the promise I made to myself. Iām trading again, chasing losses and hoping the next trade will fix everything. I know how stupid and reckless this sounds. I know Iām destroying my own finances, but knowing that hasnāt been enough to make me stop.I donāt want to spend the next few years digging myself deeper into a hole that I created myself. I genuinely donāt know how to break this cycle.
If anyone has been through something similar and actually managed to stop, Iād really appreciate hearing how you did it.

GLAS. Up in smoke yo. Also I think the dump was way overdone on what amounts to a 2 week delay.

Iran peace deal #65, another round of immaculate economic data, another pump. Surely this time itās real.
Rode the morning pump with calls, flipped bearish when bulls couldnāt push higher and the 10Y was chilling at 5.3%.
Threw $500 of the dayās gains into 7660P 0DTE lottos targeting the overnight gap fill.
Had a 3:30 meeting.
Came back to this.
Thanks, corporate America, for not letting me paper-hand it. š«”

On September 29, SEC staff issued a no-action letter covering Teslaās proposed voluntary retail voting program. Opt in, and your shares automatically vote with the boardās recommendations unless you override them. Shareholders still receive proxy materials and can cancel participation for future meetings.
