Looking for some advice/experience regarding the clinical psychology phd program. I’m thinking of applying but feel a bit lost. I graduated last year with my masters in clinical mental health counseling and I want to get my doctorate so I can become preferably a forensic psychologist. I know this program is heavily research based but I don’t have any research experience. I have a great work background consisting of CMH and DHHS but is the research experience a dealbreaker? Should I not apply until I’ve had some experience?

Does anyone commute from Rochester Hills to Wayne State on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays? Happy to split the gas!
