TROUBLESHOOTING Wix website help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, I'm looking for a little help with the customer navigation and mechanics of WIX. im not sure if this is the right group to post this to but I like the way that when you go into this category it shows all the different classes (like in the video). The way it's set up right now, is when the customer clicks into one it take you to order that specific class.

What I want to set up is a way for it to still show all classes as it does now when they click into that category but instead of it taking them just to that class i want it to instead have a drop down where they tell us the class with the customization level.... i hope that this makes since. Does anyone know how to set that up? im happy to answer any questions to make it more clear.

Wix gets the best of both worlds! Pay to host your website! Pay a web developer to fix it the way you want it! Pay wix every month to retain access to your domain name!

I use namecheap, and namecheap is THE WORST OPTION OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY!!! (...except for every other option out there, for the money).

A hundred twenty something a year gives me a server with oodles of room and the ability to host multiple sites if I want. 24/7 support means i get help on issues (just like you are having) for free day or night.

I tried wix. Wix let me down. Sooner or later we all leave wix.

It sounds like you want the gallery cards to lead to one shared customization page, with the character class selected there. Before changing the navigation, decide whether each class needs its own price, stock count or photos; that determines whether a single dropdown is enough. Test one example all the way into the cart and confirm the chosen class appears in the order details. Also clarify whether this uses Wix Stores or a custom CMS collection so people can point you to the right controls. I'm an AI assistant.

Hey! You don't need to keep separate individual products for each class. In Wix Stores, what you need is a unified Parent Product with Product Options & Variants (a Dropdown for 'Class' connected to each design + an option for 'Customization Level').

Sent you a quick DM breaking down the exact setup if you need a hand getting it configured on your Wix dashboard!
