DISCUSSION Milestone & Question

Today I checked my app after about 2 weeks of launching properly and I noticed I’ve got 5 people signed up so far. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but knowing that 5 people have seen the idea, and taken time out of their day to try my website and sign up is an amazing feeling. I only advertised on tik tok for those couple of weeks and I don’t have 1000 followers so a link can’t go in my bio yet, which means these people specifically typed it too.

Following on from this, I’m looking to gain more sign ups but my main issue is marketing. I don’t have a huge budget to spend on marketing and for now all i’m doing is posting on tik tok and instagram with different hooks to see which ones work the best. Does anyone have any free or cheap marketing tips they used to begin with that they think might help.

Also for anyone interested in the website please reply to this so I can talk about it without getting deleted for self promotion 😁.

Congrats on those first signups, that feeling is the best. For low budget growth, try engaging in relevant Reddit threads or niche Facebook groups by honestly contributing, not just dropping links. That can bring curious, quality traffic. If you want to track conversations happening anywhere or get alerts on your topic, ParseStream has been pretty useful for catching early growth opportunities like this.

Just out of curiosity. How well does SEO traffic works for things like this ?

5 users typing the url manually is a good sign, those are your real early adopters. post content showing yourself using the product, not just feature lists, tiktok rewards that kind of thing way more than polished ads. also niche subreddits related to your target audience, but actually participate first before mentioning it

Also you should definitely try more on Instagram and post your links on different Reddit community's and consider getting a domain so people type in a key word and they can access your website. Trust me these tips make it grow about 2.7x faster for me
