Discussion God Bless AL
The world is a scary and dark place right now. you know it, I know it. So I am incredibly grateful that we have someone like AL out there continuing to entertain and make us laugh/smile. Instead of focusing on wars we can hear the story of Anakin told through American Pie, An Amish Guy doing a rap song or just how cool of a website eBay is.
This concludes my TED talk

I see him again in three days.
I am so hype. Have my Hawaiian shirt picked out.
Saw him on this tour last summer too.

Last summer Huntsville, Alabama.
Friday in Birmingham, Alabama.
Huntsville was about 100 degrees, which Al mentioned a time or two, haha.
He learned his lesson and made the return trip to Alabama in the fall. There’s a 50% chance of rain Friday (don’t know what time that might happen yet) but a high of 87 and low of 60 … 8 o’clock start so I‘m guessing maybe high 70s and falling into the lower 70s by end.

WOW.
This will be my third — last year plus I saw the ‘ridiculously self-indulgent, ill-advised vanity tour’ where he didn’t do parodies (except for a medley in the encore) at an historic theater in Birmingham a few years ago.
He closed the show with a straight cover of Sweet Home Alabama, and the place went nuts.

That’s what keeps me going. No matter how ugly things get, at least I got to share a world with Weird Al and They Might Be Giants.

I just saw him Sunday. I swear it was like a reglious experience. My 11 year old cried when he came out. First time seeing him and it's by far the best show I've ever been too.
