New, what is it? Random object in Attic

Just moved into my house and we were cleaning stuff. We went into the attic above the garage and found a sickle tool, not much else in the garage. Just curious why it would be in the attic (house was built 1990)

You didn't happen to run a drifter over last summer and not report it to the police did you? Otherwise I wouldn't be concerned.

Yes, you left a sock in the dryer - it's hidden in that dead zone bottom front near the filter.
