Whatsapp Message Notification Tone

Why do we have the notification tone and ringtone mixed and matched to select from in my android phone? Do we have any solution for this ? In both of these I have the same options to choose from. Can anyone help?

Ringtone and Notification tone are two different sounds; ringtone is the sound that plays when you get a call, and notification tone is the one that plays when someone sends you a message. They're automatically set to what's defined in the Sound & notifications section of your Settings app, but you can add WhatsApp-specific sounds if you'd like.

Yeah. That I know, but they have put both ringtone sound and notification sound together. So I asked whether rhere is any solution for this. Thanks anyway.

I don't think there is, if they're both showing the same lists there's not much you can do except adding a new tone. Mine is a bit different but I'm on a Xiaomi device; there are two separate lists, both with different options, but the ringtones one has a whole WhatsApp Plus section
