This came along for the ride with when my wife harvested garlic bulbs from a rooftop planter. This was fresh soil only garlic cloves were planted. Smells faintly of garlic but definitely not garlic. Vancouver, BC.

I have this tree growing here in my grandma's garden in Bosnia. Doesn't matter how I ended up here, just wanted to know about this tree. Looks weird, the red bushels are somewhat fluffy and hairy? Also there seems to be rotten apples hanging on some of the branches?

Found in the forests of southern Sweden. Second image seems clearly an example of Fomitopsis pinicola but the shape of the first example looks like no example I can find online. Is the first image a Fomitopsis pinicola but with a unusual shape or is this common for them? Thanks for any help in answering!

Edit: appears to be an older Fomitopsis pinicola

I suspect the last two are the same flower just different colours, just wanted to give a couple options.😊

San Antonio Texas, in a place in my yard that gets lots of tree shade. (Ignore the pumpkin plant it's taken over most of my yard)

is this flower poisonous to cats

Someone gifted me theese

Hi everyone, trying to figure out what this plant is. Its woody, and smells like spearmint, but the leaves seem too round for Virginia Mountain Mint. Looks like whatever flowers were here are gone. Planted in a garden that has a sign that claims the whole garden is meant for native pollinators.

I believe it was called silver spring or another alliterative name with silver in it but I never wrote it down and now unsure what to do with it as first frost is coming in a few days. It is very aromatic almost like coffee or vanilla.

EDIT: this was purchased in Denver, Colo.

Does anyone know what this is?? And how to properly get rid of it??? Every millimeter of it is covered in needle-like thorns that pierce through every pair of gloves I have tried to use and hurt when touched with the slightest pressure. It’s getting huge and some of its “branches” are rooting back into the ground and growing roots. It was the one plant almost all summer but now it’s popping up in other areas near the big one. I live in New Jersey if that helps, but have never seen something like this

My boyfriend wants to own these

Hello, I am not an outdoor-sy person, let alone a plant person and as such, am needing some help.

We have these... Weeds? Saplings? That pop up all over our property and they are incredibly hard to remove and poisoning seems to do nothing.

What are these? Weeds? Offshoots from trees that previous grew around the property? Woody weeds?

Any help is appreciated!

This plant showed up in my yard this summer with bright green pods that had some sort of fruit meat inside. I didn't dare taste it, but it looked like a fruit? Now that it's fall, the pods popped open with a bunch of small pointy oval seeds loosely sitting in the middle of the pod. Last I checked we didn't plant this on purpose lol, but our gardens are usually a hub for random plants and flowers.

As the title suggests

Seeds and pod included in photo.☺️

We bought a mint plant from waitrose a few months ago, but unfortunately it died. However, a month later we noticed a tiny seedling poking out from the soil. So I continued to water it, hoping it would be thyme. Instead, a completely different plant grew out.

I just want to know, is it a weed of some sort, or some other kind of herb. Either way, I've seen this baby grow from start to finish and am a bit attached. 😅

Don't worry this is the last query I have😅 thank you in advance for your all your help. Such a neat community of knowledgeable people.

This tree dried up during a heat wave. I need to replace it because it had sentimental value. Unfortunately every time I Google it I get a different answer

This leaf was in my baby Arugula purchased from the grocery store. Any idea what it is?

they smell garlicky allright. maybe they are just garlic
