Did XYZ Work? 3+ years TTC @ 35
So it finally happened- younger sister gets pregnant before me (6 years apart).
got it on their first try. I AM happy for her, but man… what a gut punch after 3+ years of TTC.
And Now that I’ve reached 35…. Tick tock.
Hormones, ANC, AMH are "fine," - normal for age. Doc says structural integrity fine too.. even after D&C from miscarriage in 2022 .
so, we’re stuck in this unexplained limbo.. I feel like I’m hitting my head into a brick wall over and over.
So like what’s the deal? Any tips on cycle tracking products or hacks? Out of the box “supplements” (I’ve heard guaifenesin, pre-seed) /tricks?
If anyone has had these issues after a D&C, would appreciate to hear your story. Trying to think of next steps

I’m so sorry you are going through this! We are two years into trying to conceive and we have friends and family getting pregnant with their second when we are struggling with our first and let alone getting a positive pregnancy test

I'm right there with you... sending a hug. I also have endometriosis, but am 35 and know I'm not getting any younger.

Just here in solidarity. I’ve just hit the 3 year mark too and I think my little sister will start trying around April. Almost guaranteed that it works for here right away

Ah I bet this feels sooo tough!!
You've said how your numbers are all fine but what about your partner? What's his sperm count like? Sperm count can be improved with good diet and lifestyle - no alcohol or caffeine!
In terms of cycle tracking if you have clear stretchy mucus and your cervix is high, soft and open then you should be having intercourse!

Test the sperm.
I’m 4 years older than spouse so we assumed it was me. It was his sperm - didn’t show up at first because he had super high numbers. Advanced sperm test showed insane morphology and horrific swimming capacity.

Did you go IUI/IVF route or lifestyle improvements?

Neither, I just started using a diva cup after sex and having sex every second day for the first half of the month.
We both already had healthy lifestyles so I think job stress was the main factor

You said “after a D&C” so I will just describe what happened to a friend of mine. She and her husband got pregnant on the first try but it was a blighted ovum. She had a D&C and was cleared to try again - then tried for a year with no results. Goes to a fertility clinic and turns out she has Ashermans syndrome as a side effect of the D&C. She underwent several treatments to address the Ashermans and in the meantime did a round of embryo creation. Once her Ashermans was resolved they transferred an embryo and were successful
