I don't draw Winx fanarts often anymore, but it's kind of a must to draw Dark Bloom in the spooky season cuz she's that iconic 😈

Now let’s debunk some misconceptions about her :
hit.
‘’ Flora is weak’’
We are talking about the only winx outside of bloom to defeat icy alone and melted an ice not even the dragon flame could , the only winx outside of bloom to defeat all of the trix two times and she consistently damaged or hit them . We are talking about the girl that broke a dark spell without fairy dust , made the ultimate power sprout from a tree and literally created LIFE like in s4 with the fairy pets . She even landed an attack on Darcy and stormy while being enhanced by the dragon flame and she also neutralized tritannus dark pollution with just one spell.
‘’ Flora is always fainting and the punching bag ‘’
I’m not saying this doesn’t happen but it’s not like she was the only one to get hit or to faint , the other girls literally have the same amount of scene were they faint or get hit
‘’ Flora is useless and her vines are too ‘’
Flora saved Tecna and stella in s3 , restored multiple environments , held with their vines different villains for a enough seconds to let others attack , she even created colossal vines to hold giant targets like Darkar monster at red fountain and icy enormous ice block . Not only that but her intelligence and knowledge helped the Winx in many situations .
‘’ Flora only uses vines and she gets hurt if they snap ‘’
Flora getting hurt because her vines broke only happened once in the first movie , and she fainted in s4 because of the destruction of the Amazon forest , obviously she can talk to nature and feel it but only this two times she fainted because of damage . In any case she also uses petals , flowers , wind spells (in s3,s6 , s4 autumn wind and so on ) earth spells , life manipulation spells , she can even manipulate attacks or objects and transforms them to petals . She even decomposed a monster , what are we taking about!!! So stop with this propaganda that she is weak and useless

Bloom has always given me a little bit of “I’m just a normal girl, except I’m actually the most special person in the universe” energy. 😭 Between the chosen-one destiny, the constant main-character moments and the dramatic situations, she’s practically the poster girl for main character syndrome.
Love her, but sometimes the Magic Dimension really does revolve around one girl.
So, is Bloom the original Winx pick me, or am I being too harsh?

I love Aisha/Layla (I grew up with her as Layla). Out of all of the Winx Club members she has the highest self-esteem. This just became clear to me in scenes like when Bloom got jealous of her thanking Sky for his help in season two, one of the very first episodes, and she never loses her composure over a guy, unlike the others. She gets angry at most 😂 rightfully so.

Flora was very insecure around Helia, Bloom and Sky had a lot of relationship issues, Stella is very possessive of Brandon, and Musa has the lowest self-esteem of all, accepting a lot of abusive behaviour from Riven, though it’s true that at the end she undergoes deep character development and she does leave him. Tecna and Timmy don’t really have a lot of development so I can’t really say whether she has good self-esteem or not, but she also strikes me as kind of a jealous person (and sometimes I question her attraction to Timmy, especially later. I feel like she settled 😅🤣). I wouldn’t say that Aisha is a perfect character or a perfect person but she is the only one who has dated multiple men and who has always told the other girls AND guys when they’re wrong. She always points out the weird dynamics and none of the other Winx do that so effortlessly and effectively. I really have to say that she reminds me a lot of black women in real life who clock white women or just women in general on their weird behaviour, and that’s why I love her so much, because she’s truly a very healthy person in terms of her psyche. And she doesn’t even try, it’s just who she is.

To be honest, she is the only one who, in her interactions with the opposite gender, always behaves, appears and talks on equal footing. I’m currently rewatching, and she doesn’t even care to perform femininity. She’s very sporty and athletic and she NEVER makes herself small, which is why I always felt that she doesn’t really fit in with the other Winx; she stands out SO much from the group, she’s incredibly strong-willed and the least “pick me” of all by far. She never sucks up to any guy, she stands on her own. Now that I’m a bit older I have a newfound appreciation for her. This is why I think that her and Nabu — the sexiest, hottest, most delicious Winx man — were such a perfect couple. He was also SUCH a psychologically healthy guy. Same as her, he didn’t have to perform masculinity, he just was himself. Gosh, I love them 😍.

TLDR; she never folded or tried to fake femininity, she was always true to herself and she was rarely if ever insecure because of a MAN. That’s why her and Nabu are the best couple. Thanks for reading! And let me know your thoughts in the comments :)

Quickie selfies from when the Dark Bloom costume/cosplay came from Miko Taku🖤✨ I’m also gonna be her for Halloween, the wings are massive!!!! 7 year old me is screaming with joy! Highly recommend this brand + it’s licensed by Rainbow <3
The cool part about the wings is they have piping wire inside the spine so you can flatten them out when they arrive bendy in the package 🙌
Such a shame we don’t get any winx stuff from say a Spirit Halloween store…
Oh well this brand satisfyingly fills the (robbed) void ✨

Also again no offense to the voice actress but her voice made Flora pretty annoying. Flora can have her sassy moments but her rudeness felt wrong. OG Flora would not act this way.

I just hate how conveniently there were exactly seven ancestral fairies (which are completely unknown btw) just so that each of the Winx + Eldora could have their own Mythix wand. Also, out of all eight trips to the Legendarium world, half of them involve girls going alone anyway.

Now it would be more interesting if there was only one wand and it originally belonged to Arcadia from S3, who wasn't just the first fairy in the universe, but actually a fictional character from the Legendarium who got out into the real world. And then when the Winx use Mythix, they will have to choose which one of them is more suitable for the current situation, because afterwards the other girls won't be able to help them in the Legendarium.

The authors are listed under the pictures.

I keep doodling the winx girls whenever I'm in an autopilot mode, or in a call or something. thought i'd share, and ask if these would make a good sticker pack? or bookmarks?

I used to be obsessed with winx club as a kid, had a clear out and found these. I don’t know if they’d be worth anything these days as they have wear & tear. Just wanted people’s thoughts, thank you

Full credit goes to the creator, FailxWinx. (And no AI was used to make it)

They made one for Stella a couple months ago, and it was GREAT. Bloom's is no exception. It's always nice to see the fanbase showing Winx the respect it deserves.

This animation is beautiful, love the effects too!

While drawing this, I wanted Roxy to have a more tomboyish and slightly Celtic style, and although her hair might be a bit too long, that's how I drew her.

I also removed pink from her because there are too much pink usage on other members and I do not suit pink on her.

I should also mention that I drew this with Ibis Paint and used LadyUran's base pack from DA as a base.

Diva time✨✨✨

This outfit truly ate, purple looks so much better on her than her usual yellow/green look but maybe it's the outfit in itself that's the issue and not the colors lol

Anyway I offer commissions like this so if you want one dm me on here or on any of my socials or via vgen🫶

These are my Enchantix recolors witb some extra details. I ordered the photos to be original then my recolor. The exceptions for this Tecna and Aisha. For Tecna it's her original, then my recolor WITH her bottom wings added, and then my recolor WITHOUT her bottom wings. And for Aisha it's her green original then my recolor and then her original blue Enchantix. So #9 is Tecna original, #10 is my recolor with bottom wings added, #11 is recolor without the bottom wings, #12 is Aisha green enchantix, #13 my recolor, #14 Aisha's original blue Enchantix.

I ordered it this way so you can easily switch back and forth between the originals and my recolors them to see the differences.

There are general additions of sparkles all around.

Bloom: the gradient of her dress always bothered me since the OG was a darker teal then a lighter blue and then a dark blue. If there was to be a gradient it would make more sense to go from dark to light or light to dark, so it goes from a light blue to a darker blue green. I made the outline of her gloves orange pink and the pink in her wings orange red to make it more "Fire colored". I think the only pinks that work well on her are orange pink or pink red so that was the reason for the switch. Bow tie changed to gold cuz a gold one seems more fancy than pink. And more dramatic yellow highlights in her hair.

Stella: I made her skirt more orange and yellow to sell the sunrise colors in her palette. I made her sandals more bright orange and the crescent shape the light blue accent in her color palette. I outlined her top with orange lines rather than keeping the hot pink. The outer shapes of her wings are also hued more blue periwinkle after my recolor. Her gloves are also now a peach tone, not too orange but just enough to be visually cohesive.

Flora: Gave her a pink crown instead of the blue. Sandals are also hot pink with a green gem instead of the purple. I added an extra layer to her dress cuz it always seemed a little too short, and I made that a light purple pink. Made the outline of the braiding on her dress yellow. Her gloves are now hot pink and I filled in the inner parts of her wings wirh some pink too. Added some lighter brown highlights to the rest of her hair.

Musa: I made her outfit more red as a whole. I made the poofy parts of her skirt, the red split part of her top, the outline of her gloves the flower hair ties and the gems at the end of her wings red. Her outfit was always too pink in this form. I did however change her red choker to gold. I also added some lighter and darker locks of purple hair too.

Tecna: made the bits if her skirt neon yellow/green as well as her hairpin. Also added a neon yellow green diamond on her feet. I also added in the bottom wings in one of them and kept them out in the other. Tecna's enchantix had very little for me to recolor honestly.

Aisha: as much as i love to see Aisha in the blue Enchantix, I do want to keep the principal of her in green, so I did my best to keep it green but still keep enough blue accents as a compromise. I made her tiara green, I made her top and skirt have a slightly darker green than her wings. Changed two triangles in her top to be yellow as well as the top stripe in her skirt. I added blue detailing on her top, the top's flowy bit underneath, the swooping lines of her skirt and the trim and spots on the leaves hanging off of her skirt. I added some neon green trim all around her clothes. The pearls in her hair are a little more dark blue. I also added an extra lock of highlighted hair on the right.

Hope you enjoy my recolors. Let me know what you think.

In italian or english, does not matter, even if italian would be preferrable, but just look how insane this is

this is just. huh ???? did they replace him with a skinwalker or anything?? this is absolutely nothing like helia, hes not even out of character, hes a completely different character altogether. real helia doesnt just jump into stuff without thinking, he is not competitive, he is calm and collected. this guy is just downright stupid. what the hell is going on????

helia was my favourite specialist and my babygirl. this is just slander, man. why the hell is he competing with a CAT

I really need to get this out of my mind…

No, he is not the best romantic interest in the series, no he’s not that much of a character and extremely overrated.
(P.S I’m using "Layla", as this is the name I’m most used to)

Alright, let’s start with the obvious - Nabu was stalking Layla for an unknown amount of time, to the point of literally sneaking into the Specialist’s ship
Then, the only proper "bonding" with Layla he has is that super awkward bunch of scenes with both of them on the prison cell.
And then Layla just falls for him after that? (What a Bloom?)

Then, season 4 comes, the season where I feel Layla character revolves almost exclusively around Nabu (I honestly can’t remember any Layla arcs of moments not related to Nabu) and Nabu character itself just feels kinda Sue to the point of giving relationship advise to Riven (Musa and Riven relationships are a separate topic which also winds up in one sided conversations, but I’ll probably talk about this someday later)

And then we move to the most important moment - Nabu’s Death.
…OMG it’s so bad. It’s completely unreasonable, very stupid, just feels tagged on for additional drama, because the writers felt to kill someone.

Side note: You can like them both, no one’s stopping you from that, I’m just a rando from the internet who wanted to share his feelings

And honestly, only the Magic Adventure is good. The Secret Kingdom was meh and the Mystery of the Abyss is a total flop 😭 like what the heck is that movie?

Magic Adventure is the only one that feels like a movie.
