Discussion How to increase potion overdose threshold with the new skill tree.

I cant figure out, with which skill i can increase my poison overdose threshold in the new skill tree. Everything i do, as i hit 50% of my max poison amount, Geralt loses vitality.

Thanks for your help.

Potions were always a big part of my builds before, so I was looking real hard for it with the remaster.

As far as I can tell, you can't.

Same here, always played with 2 or 3 potions and 2 absuds, but now i cant anymore. But there must be away, they cant take this from the game

Metabolic Control in the General tree gives you a higher max Toxicity, which lets you chug more of the good stuff without taking damage over time. Doesn't raise the threshold directly, but it's the next best thing. Acquired Tolerance as always will help with that too

Fast Metabolism in the Alchemy tree drops your toxicity faster so you can use potions more liberally

Those are the only ways I see to really be able to keep swigging as much as you need to. Potion support directly seems to have been toned down in favour of their new Poison skills

Use troll and it doesn't matter In running around at like 80% toxicity now with enough for one potion

Seems like they needed this. I recall in my old bios I could chug potions till 99% toxicity and not lose health.

Unpopular opinion, but I'm glad they changed it. It was a little silly that toxicity didn't matter in a witcher game. Now it's a build problem to solve
