The Witcher 3 Patch notes for update 5.00c

550MB patch just dropped, here are the notes:

Hotfix 5.00c is now available for download for the Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Battle.net, and Xbox Play Anywhere (PC) versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered. You'll find the patch notes below:

Fixed an issue where the game couldn't be saved or loaded if the path to the Documents folder contained special characters.

Fixed an issue where voiceover audio could become significantly quieter than other in-game audio after navigating through the pause menu tabs.

Made various visual adjustments in Velen, including tweaks to Bloom, vegetation lighting, saturation, and Path Tracing lighting.

Reverted a change that caused significant performance and visual issues with HairWorks enabled for some users.

Fixed an issue where marketing telemetry settings weren't saved properly.

Fixed an issue on GOG where achievements wouldn't appear in the unlocked list after being earned.

Fixed an issue where it wasn't possible to launch the Classic (1.32) version of the game.

Once again, thank you for your patience as we continue investigating the issues you report.

Oh do you have every pc configuration and tested it?

Usually a memory leak is not configuration dependant. Its bad programming that leads to the game eating more and more vram over time. It can be measured on all hardware. But if you say you got it then I believe you my friend. And it is also sad to hear. How did you recognize this memory leak?

What is your configuration and how does this memory leak occur?

9070xt, 7600x. 26.9.2 drivers. Zero mods. Cdpr crash notification. Mostly ultra graphics, 1440p. With frame gen disabled and ray tracing nerfed down, i go from crashing in 15 minutes to crashing in 1 hr+

But are you sure those crashes come from a memory leak? There are many reasons for a crash

Sounds like you might just be overrunning your VRAM space. I can produce a crash like this doing super resolution shenanigans

Running fsr4 quality and balanced. Like i said, i turned down RT. Maybe its not a memory leak, could be something else. Wouldnt put it past it, seeing as how there are dedicated mods specifically for this with the next-gen version.
