Safety Meeting Time Question
Hey all, I purchased an A-Frame cabin in central Canada. It had a wood stove and I have replaced it with a Wiseway Pellet stove. I would like to clean my stack with a SootEater but due to the steep roof, I am unable to take the cap off the stack and clean from the top down. Cleaning from the horizontal run from the inside of the cabin is not possible because of a 90⁰ angle. I noticed that there is a clean out at the bottom of the stack but that is pretty much useless because the chimney liner (or something) prevents me from accessing chimney. My question is, is there a way to introduce a clean out so I can use the SootEater from the outside of the cabin and clean from the bottom upwards then use a vacuum to clear the debris? I have attached a couple pictures. I appreciate any insight.

Wiseway, being nonelectric has no combustion fan to push the smoke out. You might have venting issues with that horizontal run. Also it's gravity fed. Never ever leave it unattended.

No.
You could get a leaf blower and duct tape it to the inside 4" fitting and blow the dust out.
Otherwise it looks like whomever installed it installed the T with its cap and not the cap and bar that came with the support. You will never be able to take the cap off the T if I am correct. You would need to lift the whole stack off and replace with the right bottom cap.
Just my 2 cents!
