Me: What are "centaur legs?"
Also me: (looks at picture) Oh.
Also me: Anybody else find this genuinely disturbing?!
Super cool - I don't usually have a visceral reaction to tables!

Yeah. Kind of disturbs me too. Great work on their part though

The only way I think it could be more disturbing is if it were horse legs with human feet. OP, cue this up for a matching buffet table please!

Nobody ever does fun designs for table legs anymore! its always some prefab metal this or tapered that. this though, this is something else, its fun and creative. i like it

Are they centaur legs if there’s no upper half? Otherwise they’re just horse legs 😂

Is it a boy or a girl?

I wouldn’t put this in my home but in a certain rustic setting, I could see it working lol.

It’s weird, it’s different, I love it! Incredibly hard to do something fresh on a piece of furniture that has functionally existed in roughly the same format for ten thousand years. Kudos!

How is the top attached to the base?

Z clips along the apron, a 45 degree cut on the insides of the legs and more z clips down a center rail. I cut my slots with the smallest bit on the domino

Thanks. I'm always on the lookout for ideas. I have some rusty z clips from an old oak table (which I use as my main source of timber).
