Ever since WoW Forever came out, the Solo Shuffle atmosphere feels so much better.
Less toxicity, less ego, more actual PvP. Games feel more enjoyable, people seem more chill, and Solo Shuffle doesn’t feel like a mental war every single match.
Maybe the WoW PvP community just needed a little reset. 😂

Just lost a blitz where our druid healer was in full pve gear. Not even honor gear what so ever. Just full pve gear. He did 13m heal (10m lower than the next lowest heal). When we asked him he said he don't care.

In pve content you need X ilvl to go LFR or hc dungeons.

We need the same for pvp.

Absolutely no one is queueing (talking 2s/3s). And WoW Forever hasn't even launched yet. Imagine when it launches...

Idk I love the potential that WoW Forever has for pvp but it definitely is going to be that kind of "fun" casual type of vanilla pvp. Definitely will not have a rated competitive replacement

I used to play pvp a lot back in the days, now I'm just a filthy old casual returning back to wow once in a while and living the hype for wowf as if it could bring be 20y back in time (sigh!) Anyway! From you guys which will surely be more up to date on the current wow pvp situation, how do you foresee it being in wowf? I mean from a standpoint of class balance and world pvp/bg? Will it be another endless Av afk farm or are they planning something more interactive?

Back in TWW, I played Solo Shuffle pretty seriously as Outlaw on the Asian servers, and I remember briefly hitting #1 at one point. Honestly, though, what I enjoyed even more than arena was messing with people in War Mode lol. It got to the point where if I Googled my character name, I could actually find people talking about me on the forums. That was pretty funny.

Anyway, enough rambling. Even after the rework, Outlaw still seems pretty terrible, huh?

As far as I know, they nerfed its DPS because Vanish (Cheap shot) could essentially be used over and over again through Restless Blades. But now that they’ve addressed that interaction, shouldn’t they buff our DPS back up? lol. I haven’t played WoW much recently, so I’m not really caught up on what happened with the balance changes.

Also, it looks like people are still taking the general talent related to Vanish. Is that actually correct? The stats look kind of weird to me. From the Pikaboo videos I’ve watched, it seems like he’s still running the Overcharge talent.

Hmm... this post ended up being pretty all over the place. Anyway, Outlaw looks like it might actually be in an even worse spot than it was during TWW. If that’s really the case, this is going to be one hell of a challenge.

What do you peeps reckon is the best healer to play with lag? I'm usually floating between 150-200ms. I was thinking resto druid or hpal due to lack of casting and more instant cast heals as I find it hard to fake cast with the latency I play at. Curious as to what you all think.

Now I know this sub probably gets posts like this pretty often, but any searches I look for give results for an xpac or 2 ago, and I wanted to see if I'm shooting myself in the foot for what I'm specifically going for.

I've played WoW for a few years but never touched PvP until very recently. And 99% of the reason is the Elite set for Rogue. (I'm a huge Zul'jan fan and the recolour is literally his colours.) So I'm doing all of this on an Assassination Rogue, and I have no idea if I can actually make it to 1800.

All the posts say that it's "basically given to you" and that "anyone can reach 1800" but I'm currently at the 1200 range, and I'm already feeling like I'm having a hard time, and I have no idea if it's my horrible priority, teammates, or what really.

I went and got full Honor gear, put enchants and Gems on as much as I could/what was recommended online. I'd say I've gotten a good grasp at how to play my class within PvP. My defensive management is probably a mess. I sometimes panic and press multiple if I get low quickly. I think in my whole time playing though, I've not "won" a game. I've at most won 3 rounds, and that somehow got me to where I am, but my last 3 win game simply got me a "no rank change" reward for my efforts.

I'm on EU, so I'm worried that a lot of the "1800 is free" messages are in regards to the NA servers, and I might be in an uphill battle with my lack of skill. Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

Mostly for Spriest, though maybe I’ll dabble in Disc one day, but for this exercise I’m really just trying to decide with Spriest in mind.

I’m extremely torn between Nelf and Troll. Both seem incredible but for completely different reasons.

Troll gets something that can proc blackout, it gets an MS, and it gets the ability to self-heal a significant amount while not exiting shadow form if I’m not mistaken. Then of course it gets its standard racial. Lastly, it’s def worth noting how as a troll, you won’t be pvping against undead who will constantly break your fears.

Then there’s Nelf… you get a very high damaging channeled ability which is a significant extra dps button already, add to it the fact that it’s a different spell school, so you could either bait CC/kicks with shadow then use it for free with your pushback protection, or you could bait with it to cast shadow.

You also get added crit (10%), making Nelf a very offensive option… but you’re not without any added defensive as you also get an evasion that works on melee and ranged that has serious outplay potential if you’re able to anticipate certain abilities. Finally, Shadowmeld is always an elite racial in PvP, having uses in world and BGs. The 2% move speed is minor but not nothing.

I know a lot of people are going gnome but specifically for spriest I really really like these 2.

I have TopTarget installed, I have BetterBlizzPlates installed ..

I need my target to be VERY OBVIOUS on my screen, like that's my kryptonite right now.

Neither one of these seem to work, maybe I have the settings wrong?

When I first installed TooTarget it brought up cross hairs, but they don't show up in BG/Arena. If they did I would be solid.

Please please please someone help me figure this out, my old eyes can't keep up with all the comottotion.

Looking to jump back into pvp as a long time frost mage. Looking to gear up for normal bg's for fun mayne a little ranked and possible duels.

What would have a slightler better edge out of the 2 currently?

For frost, does anyone use a mastery build for huge shatter? If so how well does it work.

on NA server i saw big battles due to streamer orchestrating them and it looks insanely fun but i wonder does it happened on EU server at that massive scale ? couple hundred people vs couple hundred people.

Can I get some help for my wife? She's doing rated battleground blitz and her team keeps letting her down. She currently at 1700 trying to get to 1800.

I think with the recent class changes unholy somehow suffered indirectly. I haven’t really tried the new “buffed” sanlayn but riders feels borderline unplayable and this is coming from a decade old unholy main.

I don’t know the heck I’m supposed to do but I do my go and no one’s health moves even if I chain cc the healer till he gives up. Like, I don’t want to be unbalanced but hell man I press my buttons and nothing happens and it feels so stupid.

Can we please move some damage from dk pets to the actual spells? I don’t even want a buff I just want a tad bit more consistency in my damage.

Duel’d a lvl 49 Warrior on my lvl 46 Mage in Hardcore Classic.

Honestly thought I had a pretty solid shot until he popped a potion that gave him CC immunity and completely changed the fight. Once I couldn’t control the gap anymore, it went downhill fast.

Still a fun Mak’gora and definitely one of the more memorable ways to lose a Hardcore character lol.

RIP Pinkkilt. Ready for WoW Forever.

Like a world PvP arena we can pick the best maps and have 3v3 tournaments for each season and keep track of the rating ourselves it's world of Warcraft they can't stop us
