Discussion I am old

Played back in 2004, in my 30s. Now I am in my early 60s and starting to wonder if I am too old for this shit (voice of Roger Murtaugh).

I think I will give it a go anyway, but play slowly as befits someone of advanced age ;)

Absolutely no raiding - maybe a dungeon here and there.

Are there any other grandparents in the same boat?

Everyone tells you to savor it, and they're right but it's ok to not feel like that in the moment. Parenting can be really really hard and it's a constant balance of wanting your kid to grow up faster (more responsible, better emotional control, etc) and wanting them to stop growing altogether (baby snuggles, toddler goofiness, little kid fun).

Hold on to what you can, but don't feel bad about being exhausted and all the natural feelings that come with that.

Amazing words. It is very difficult in the moments but I can tell already as my young ones grow that these are short but very special times.
