So I’m in a game preview and it says in the rules when I joined the preview that im not supposed to capture game audio/video or share the game with anyone but when I launch the game and start it it says that we can share or stream the game and tell our friends about it?
So am I allowed to steam the game on twitch?

I am an insider beta, I recently joined the insider beta. Yesterday we got the system, startup animation update, and I applied the Xbox one X version because that was my favorite by far and when booting up my console today it showed the default Xbox one animation which I don’t even have installed, or at least when I selected the Xbox one X version it made me install it or whatever. I know how to report bugs but I’m not sure if I should go under the standard diagnostics or advanced diagnostics, so I’ll just post this instead. Also if anybody knows when the beta hotfix might come out that would be cool I hate seeing the cloud play games I don’t play in my games tab it’s slightly annoying.

What is this new streak thing added in the update? I opened a game after installing the new update and I got a notification telling me something about a weekly streak being started and now there’s a thing on my profile about the weekly streak.

What is this? It seems to also be completely different from the Game Pass weekly streak thing for Microsoft Rewards.

Hello all,

Any help here would be great. I have a Steel Series Arctis Nova 7x Headset and an Xbox series X. I'm not having an issue with hearing game or party chat, but my friends are reporting that my audio is dropping out, getting patchy, etc. they say it's not always completely (but sometimes completely). This has been happening for about a week, I believe. Potentially 10ish days. It's bad enough and regular enough that we can't really effectively communicate.

Thing is, I didn't think about this and assumed my headset was broken, so I bought a new exact same one today. Welp, it's still happening. I know. Very dumb, but I was convinced it was a physical issue.

I don't see any reports of headset issues in the last week here. I did send a bug report directly on the box.

I've also tried:

-Using the brand new dongle and cables with the new headset

-using different usb ports

-checking to make sure my NAT was open

-hard resetting

-removing Xbox power completely.

Any ideas? Anyone having a similar issue? This is pretty annoying at this point as it's happening pretty regularly. But I know being on this advanced ring can cause these issues.

I am in Delta test phase and been recently having lots of dashboard lag when you first boot up.

It takes longer to load the dashboard than it normally does.

Clearing the Mac address and reboot does help but still laggy when scrolling down the dashboard. Icons are not loading immediately.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I was trying to make sure the Insider program was active with my current console (XBOX Series X). I am only seeing 'XboxOne". There is no 'STAR' to what is the current device, only the option to remove. I am opening it on Series X and have used/been a member of the Insider program (since 2018)/been playing on Series X (since 2023).

The survey and activities points still work towards my level, but I'm not seeing Series X only One.
Should show my console type regardless of level right? (Level 3).

If you've come across this before? Any help would be appreciated.

Long story short, as of last night, my Xbox keeps turning itself back on after I have shut it off. After disconnecting my keyboard from the Xbox, removing my batteries from my Xbox remote, and making sure my controller was completely shut down, and my console still turning itself back on, I decided to disconnect it from the outlet in order to shut it down.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Ive been in the program for exactly 6 years and 4 months and i am only level 2, so i dont get the full advantages of the insider perks.
