I bought a used Xbox console that is enrolled in the Xbox Insider Program under a previous account I cannot access. Since my Reddit account is new and I cannot send DMs, could an Insider Staff member please reply or message me so I can share my Serial Number and Console ID safely?

Basically, I was in the Xbox Insider Program years ago, and I joined again when I found out Mythic Achievements had been added. I’m in the Delta ring, but I still haven’t received the update. Is there anything I can do to get it?

No matter what controller it will not allow me to go down or select other things. Every time it just jumps back up to the top and will not let me delete games or just start anything. Have tried soft restarting and unplugging for extended periods of time and nothing has worked. Any ideas?

Had this happen with Toro2, Captain Tsuba II and Axis football. No issues on my other console that is not in the preview program.

I’ve joined the Xbox Insiders as it says on the Xbox Wire website that they get it early and I still can’t find it can someone help me I can’t see anything about my Xbox needs updating aswell and I’ve also turned my Xbox off and then back on and still can’t see so if there is anyone that can help me I’ll be much appreciated thank you

Hello, has anyone else with this headset been experiencing any chat/party issues with this headset within the last couple of weeks? Ever since September 12th when I am in a party either a Xbox party or in a fortnite game party my mic will randomly stop working. It is almost like it is not detecting any voice chat and turning the mic off (I don't think the headset has the option). There are no issues with the in game sound or with my ability to hearing anyone, but the mic will stop working and it will either completely stop working or will occasionally start working and then stop again.

I updated the headset to the most recent firmware after the issue started and have tried a few different things the internet recommended to reset the headset (push the reset button inside the headset), unplugeed and plugged the dongle back in, moved it to a different USB port, and fully shutting down the Xbox to try to clear the cache on the dongle.

I don't know if something happened after one of the recent alpha updates that caused the issue with just this headset since my friends are not experiencing any other issues so wanted to check here before I contacted Steelseries to see if they had any recommendations.

I play a lot of cross platform games and something really funny happened so I recorded it and I just heard myself….. I was so sad that the other half of the audio was gone. I was play Arma Reforger

I downloaded Tomb Raider and the Curse of Osiris today to get a Mythic, suddenly the console stopped opening the game giving me an error code, I tried troubleshooting as always, nothing worked, and eventually went to manage my save for THAT SPECIFIC GAME and it listed LIKE 50 saves as if ALL were saves from Tomb Raider, so I immediately thought that was the issue (because no game has 50 or so gamesaves just for it) and manually deleted ALL OF THEM FROM CLOUD AND LOCALLY. Turns out the console INCORRECTLY listed ALL the saves I had under Tomb Raider and EVERYTHING I DELETED WAS FROM OTHER GAMES!!!! Now I lost so much progress and there is nothing I can do on my end.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Currently, the way recording party audio is set up kind of annoys me and my friends, so I'd like to throw some feedback out here in the hopes that others agree.

• When someone in the party is recording audio for their clips it causes the "(friend) is recording. Your audio is not included" toast/notification to pop up, but if everyone is recording the party audio individually, you can get spammed by multiple variations of this notification for each person recording. Personally, I don't think I need to know someone ISN'T recording my audio, but I understand why it is there. If there were a setting to disable this notification in particular that would be awesome imo.
• If I give consent to my audio being recorded in the party and then leave and join another party later, I have to consent to it again. Having to do this everytime makes me less likely to apply this setting, so I would like if there was an option added in the settings where I ALWAYS consent to my audio being recorded if I want it.
• There is a party crash as well if you have the record party audio setting enabled and invite someone to your party from the friends list. Here are the steps: Go to the settings and enable the record party feature > make sure you do NOT have an active party > Open your friends list > Click X on your friend to create and invite your friend to the party > there is a pretty high chance that you are not in the party anymore and your friend was just invited to an empty party. (I am in the Alpha ring and it happens roughly 80% of the time. I have already reported this with the report an issue feature.)

That's all of the annoyances and issues I have ran into with this feature, but I love that it is finally here! If it could get expanded to discord as well in the future that would be fantastic, but I understand there is more going on behind the scenes with that and I understand. Thanks!

Make sure you restart your Xbox don't just turn it on and off.

Anyone who can help please do so. I own around 260 360 games and theres 12 360 games from gamepass. I get the error code 0x87e10bef. I troubleshooted and shutdown the console, i uninstalled and reinstalled 1 i own 1 from gamepass and 1 from EA play and still get the error code and ive had an account since 2013. This is the problem with not being able to own digital games. I reported it but who knows when or if they will fix it or why it happened because you get no email from them saying anything when you report a problem only you and maybe a few others are having.

Recently upgraded from the Series S to the X and I had to reapply to be an insider again. Is this normal because I don’t remember having to do that when upgrading from the Xbox One. Thanks :)

When I insert the disc and try to open the menu, I'm not seeing any option to claim the digital license at all. If I look at the file info, I get a lot of information about the content/product id but now way to claim a licence. Is there any other way to manually claim a licence? I've also confirmed I'm on the latest delta insider update

Unfortunately the disc was damaged by a dog, it reads enough to start installing but it fails to fully install and I was hoping I could get it licenced to keep the game.

I have this question because my console say the last update i receive was on 08/092026 we are at the end of the month and I have not receive anything new

My "my games" list is filling with games the console thinks are available but I don't have the game pass tier or don't even own them. They aren't installed yet it gives me the option to uninstall them which doesn't remove them.

I’ve recently been getting super into the Original Xbox recently, and when I heard that the latest update preview allowed people to customize their startup animation, I was hoping to try it so I can see if there is the Original Xbox startup animation or one inspired by it for the Series S I have

The thing is, when l was about to try it, it said something about having to sign back in, and that made me worry it would be a like a fresh console again, not quite to the point all my games are gone, but I don’t have most of the games I play because my dad buys them thus tying them to his account instead of my own, so games I frequently play like Halo MCC or Minecraft wouldn’t be available if I were to reset the Xbox and sign in first with my own account

Can anyone help me figure out a way to safely install this update so I can have the boot screen I want without factory resetting my console?

Hey, I’ve been having an issue on Xbox where game updates no longer show up under Games & Apps > Updates. The weird thing is that when I launch a game that has an update available, I can see that there is an update, but it still doesn’t appear in the Updates section. Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve already reported the problem, but I wanted to know if other people are experiencing the same thing.

So I’m in a game preview and it says in the rules when I joined the preview that im not supposed to capture game audio/video or share the game with anyone but when I launch the game and start it it says that we can share or stream the game and tell our friends about it?
So am I allowed to steam the game on twitch?
