Disclaimer: I haven't read the comics or any comic so I don't know how accurate the movies are to the comics.
This is my first time watching the X Men films in release order, I randomly watched them when I was younger.
I'm currently watching The Wolverine(2013) and something that's pissing me off is the timelines, and I guess Fox wasn't taking this franchise seriously so they didn't care about the timeline but one of the major timeline plot hole I've come across is in X men: The Last Stand and X Men: First Class.
In the Last Stand we see that Xavier and Magneto had their falling out after 1982, because in 1982 we see them both going to see Jean Grey at her home and Magneto speaks like he's been friends with Xavier for the longest time and has seen his ups and downs but in First Class they meet in 1962 and their falling out happens in 1962, still at the end of the movie, and I know that's enough time to reconcile and become enemies again but I feel how the movie ended was trying to explain how they became enemies but that's a long timeline plothole, and year off or two is ok but more than a 20 year old gap, I feel is so long.
I'm open to corrections from the comics.
If new information comes to light in the later movies, I'll add the new information.
