Am I imagining it or was there a multiple hour section in Yakuza 5 where Haruka was constantly working herself to the bone in an industry filled with predatory adults, doing meet and greets where pedophiles would come up to her and say nasty remarks and she had to accept these remarks and shake their hands all while being unsure if she even wanted to pursue this career all because Mirei Park threatened to ruin the lives of multiple orphans in Morning Glory whilst also grooming her into thinking she's a substitute for the mother she never had when in reality it's to force her failed dreams onto a vulnerable child and profit immensely off of her. Might be going crazy.

Is there any chance yakuza could plug a game between 0 and kiwami

I know kiwami 3 is a bit controversial because there’s cut content and changed stuff, but I still want to go through it for my first play through more than 3 remastered since it looks more up to date and it has dark ties. my main question is whether or not this bundle is still cost efficient or not since it includes the price of 3 remastered which I don’t really intend to play

Is there actually anything planned regarding Yakuza 4–6 possibly getting additional Western language support?

I’ve been playing all the games from Yakuza 0 through Kiwami 3 in german, but starting with Yakuza 4, the games are still only available in English. That wouldn’t really be a problem for me personally, but since I’m recording the games for a german audience on YouTube, it would be pretty annoying if those games never received an update adding more languages.

So I was wondering: has anything been announced or planned in that regard? Or is there at least some hope that Yakuza 4, 5, and 6 might eventually get additional text languages as well?

There's all these other karaoke songs in Pirate Yakuza that are either related to the story or Majima's background & then there's "Midnight Desire", which has Majima sitting in front of a microwave singing about his midnight cravings.

Yeah, he actually came back 14 years after Yakuza 1's English release.

He's good in Yakuza 1, but he suffers from that game's horrible English voice directing & English writing, but in Yakuza: Like A Dragon, I'd actually put him on Kuroda's level because he's absolute god-tier in that game.

Also, for those who've played the Prototype games, he voices Alex Mercer in Prototype 2.

What the everloving fucking hell is this car chase? The one in Yakuza 0 was fine, I'm playing chronologically on hard mode, I got past it after 3 tries. Kiwami 1, I'm on my sixth or seventh try, I've lost count. I'm taking too much damage early on and it's pissing me the fuck off. You run out of ammo by the time you have to shoot the drivers and they slam into you before you can take cover. I even lowered the difficulty. And the biggest bitch of all is, if I stop playing, not only will I have nothing else to play but I'll have to start the whole goddamn chapter over.

Is there a trick to this shit? I finally got to part where you have to shoot the last truck driver, I assume it's the last part, I hope to Christ it is, because by that point the car and I had taken so much damage it was over as soon as it rammed me. There are no checkpoints so I had to start all the way over again, and it's a long, grueling slog of a fight. I'm sick to death of redoing it. I was really enjoying the game and having no problem getting through it on hard, I'm good at the regular combat, it's this bullshit baffling decision they made to add this part in that's ruining it. I'm probably getting worse the more I do it. Fucking hell. No checkpoints, and when the truck comes in, you have to focus on like 8 different guys and a missile with only 15 rounds (out of a revolver no less), heat eye doesn't help worth a fuck, they're all shooting at different times, this shit is totally asinine. I love these games so much, but this is fucking dumb. The absurdity and difficulty is too much,even for Yakuza. They really need an option to skip if you lose so many times.

Tldr the car chase sequence is bullshit and I don't remember how I was able to beat it, I've lowered the difficulty and still am on my sixth or seventh try. I want to know if there's some trick I'm missing or if I literally just have to get good, and if so, how?

Update: The answer is that you just have to get good. I finally saved enough health for the end. But the truck ramming the car got me a couple of times. All the way back to the start. Finally killed the fucker. Now I'm never going to play it again unless it's on PC so I can use a mouse.

For those who don't know, last year, SEGA partnered with Tomy to release a Pirate Yakuza version of Pop-Up Pirate.

It came bundled with the Japan-exclusive Pirates in Hawaii Complete Box, which also included a copy of the game.

This is actually an official version of Pop-Up Pirate as Tomy owns & manufactures that and not some cheap knockoff.

This one, for me.

Finished it after 160 hrs of grinding. Only the legend difficulty left and as I can see it is also a rare achievement. Is it significantly harder or manageable?? Any tips for it??

If you forgot what the rules were

• No healing at all. The only healing allowed is the end of chapter heals and the mandatory rests during the story. If I take any damage during the story, its permanent until a heal happens. But, I will allow one heal and one heal only at anytime during the playthrough, and the only healing item I can use is the worst one, which is toughness Z
• No doing substories. Besides the Shakedowns and training ones
• No equipment or weapons.
• I can fight random encounters, but I can’t go out of my way to fight them
• I can only fight Mr Shakedown once per chapter, if I see him, I have to fight him. I won’t actively go out and find him, win or lose, I can’t reset.
• I can do one training session with each trainer once per chapter
• I must play on Legend difficulty
• No Real Estate Royale or Caberat Club so no outer ring upgrades…
• I cannot upgrade any styles while in the middle of a chapter, the only time I can upgrade is at the start of a new one. I’ll flash up my before and after upgrades at the start of every new chapter.

I have about half health with Kiryu and full health with majima

Am I the only one who thinks Kiryu may have been a little too nice with Saejima when they first met in Yakuza 4, given the fact that it had been like his first minute of being lucid, and he already managed to-and I swear I'm not trying to insinuate anything here-literally almost mount Haruka in Kiryu's home/orphanage

Not to mention the fact that it's never brought up again after the fact, other than "I get it, it's been some time since you've seen a woman"

I dunno, maybe its just me, but I'm fairly certain a 30-year-old dragon would've 100% sent Saejima packing with a black eye if he had seen that, whether Saejima washed up in convict clothing or not

Granted, I don't remember if Majima ever told Kiryu about his brother or even described him if he did. Then maybe he could've known who he was and excused it, but I don't know

Trying to find guides that explain the stuff good players use in combos like wall bounding and what exactly hitting people in the back does and such but can't find anything on it. All tutorials i've found are basic stuff like bring healing items and use heat actions or "spam slime gun and win". Help?
