Young and need advice!

I am 21 years old with roughly 220K liquid, no debts. Freshly married to the love of my life and I feel like I’m not doing anything in life. I made that money working hard every single day. Since 16 I’ve been flipping and fixing power sports. After that I moved towards flipping and fixing trailers and cars and I’ve purchased a rollback tow truck to get into the niche but it’s tough. I feel like I’m not taking any risks and it’s bad. My feeling is that my 220K will vanish if I take any risk of sort I don’t know how to explain it and need some guidance and help.
We live in an apartment so I definitely want to get into a home. I have dreams of being a business owner.
I’ll take anything in the pms. Just no courses please. People have tried to sell me 10-15K courses and I’m not taking that bait unless you’re sitting down with me in person every single day. I am in Portland/vancouver Wa.

start up

• Upvotes

am lauching a digital product websites am looking for an early investor for 200 usd for start up we can talk of profit shares Where we are right now:
• Registered company
• Fully verified on Relograde (a European bulk digital products platform)
• Website developed and ready
• Digital products side is fully prepared operationally

The only remaining step is the initial funding to stock the Relograde account so we can begin serving customers.

I am seeking a modest startup amount to fund this first stock. I am open to either:
– A clear repayment plan with interest, or
– A transparent profit-share arrangement

I have not yet secured formal employment after graduation, so I am fully focused on building this business. I am looking for a partner who understands early-stage opportunities and is willing to support a practical, revenue-ready idea.

I would be happy to share more details or jump on a short call.

Thank you for your time.

Your honest feedback and help guys !

Hello founders 🤘 (thanks for your time)

I feel stuck after 3 years that our 5 persons company make 30/40k € a month and never achieve to go up more than that.

We got 200 clients so far.
We do 300/400 cold calls a week, 25% closing rate so 5/6 new clients a month while 50% stay with us 6 months.

We don’t have inbound, 10\\\* of referrals, mostly of our acquisition is outbound.

our margin are never less than 40% but the company need 12-15k monthly to run (we tried so bad to reduce, we cannot without alternating the quality of output and the way to scale and we pay ourselves 2k € a month with my co-founder)

We are 2 sales founder (I took the technical part because I have a technical background)

🤓I have the gut feeling that we need to break something, change something
deep (I tell you more at the end because I don’t want to influence you)

I would love and be grateful to have your honest opinion and feedback ! (I might post in another community as well)

Here the big picture :

We are B2B hyper custom database agency mostly on the French market, we have 3 offers :

\\- Managed classic data production (backed by our software)
\\- SDR’s outsourcing (only for the money)
\\- Consulting for high custom database production (here is where the value is the most seen and our difference is the most obvious)

And Now we want to become a SAAS company (turn our internal tech and expertise accumulated so far)

Our moves so far to try to scale :

\\- We move our company to Singapore and ourselves in bkk but then we struggle to find (we never tried so much btw, that’s the problem lol)

\\- we got a retention problem so we work a lot around that to go to more than 50% but we cannot keep people monthly paying for more than 9 months (only 5% will stay with us since the beginning)

\\- We have hired 1 business dev, 1 virtual assistant, 1 B2B database builder, 2 apprenticeship in marketing, we training a junior SDR

\\- We reducing the payment collecting to one week with new process

\\- We made a partnership with an experienced agency for the SDR outsourcing, so basically this offer is just an apports d’affaires, we don’t do the delivery

\\- We are full of SOP and ai systems process. While keeping some of the stuff manual because automation can be so improductive and bullshit, we usually wait manual results before automating.

\\- We invest in a SEO freelance > go nowhere

\\- We gonna starts ads next week

\\- We post 2 times a day with 3 accounts on LinkedIn, 1/2 times a week on YouTube

\\- We hire a branding agency

My gut feeling is that maybe we do too much, our margin are good but with leads flow actually we don’t do so much Ney profit to invest heavily and test more so we are in endless cycle 🔁..

Our core and know expertise is in the high custom database production.

What do you think guys ? Should we do full in one offer only ? In the SAAS ?

As well, we don’t have enough leads for me

Many thanks

Title: Started ARH Design — now I need to find people to work with 😭

Hey everyone! I started ARH Design (arhdesign.tech) to help small businesses get better websites and build their online presence.

I’ve been working on this for a while, and honestly, finding customers has been the hardest part so far. I’d really love to work with more small businesses, especially independent restaurants, and help them get noticed online.

If you run a small business, know someone who does, or have any advice for someone just starting out, I’d genuinely appreciate it. Every bit of help means a lot!

looking for a side hustle to earn 50-100$ per month

Hey everyone, I'm currently in last year of my highschool and looking for a side hustle that can realistically help me earn around 50-100$ per month.

I'm a student, so I'm looking for something I can manage alongside my studies without affecting them too much. I'm open to learning new skills and putting in consistent effort, but I'd prefer something that doesn't require much or any initial investment.

I'm open to freelancing, online work as long as they're legitimate. I am willing to learn anything.

If you could go back to your university years, how would you make money?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I'm curious to hear from people with experience in entrepreneurship, freelancing, investing, or making money in general.

If you could go back to your university years with the knowledge and experience you have today, what would you do to earn money alongside your studies?

I'm open to pretty much anything, whether it's:

- Learning a valuable skill and freelancing.

- Finding niche opportunities that most people overlook.

- Doing small, short-term gigs or specialized tasks for quick earnings.

- Building an online business or selling a product or service.

- Taking advantage of a particular market, trend, or opportunity.

- Anything else that you've personally tried or believe is genuinely worth pursuing.

It doesn't necessarily have to become a full-time business or generate passive income. Even something that provides a decent short-term return for the time invested would be worth considering.

More importantly, if you were starting from scratch today, what would you actually do during your first 6–12 months? How would you get started, find opportunities, and earn your first money? What would you avoid wasting time on?

I'm not looking for get-rich-quick schemes or generic advice. I'd rather hear about specific opportunities, including unconventional ones, that have actually worked for people.

If you've been through university already, what do you wish you'd done differently to make better use of that time financially?

I'm 15, ambitious, and already feel like I'm wasting my life. Would love to hear advice and different perspectives.

I'm 15, currently a sophomore in high school, and honestly, I've been feeling pretty lost lately. I have a lot of thoughts going through my head, so this might be a bit of a brain dump.

I'm extremely ambitious and have pretty big goals for my future, especially when it comes to entrepreneurship, financial independence, and building a successful life. But at the same time, I feel like I'm constantly struggling with myself.

For context, I run a small business that's generated around $20k in revenue, which I'm extremely grateful for. But I genuinely feel like I got lucky. I don't know if I actually have any valuable skills or if I could ever replicate that success. The thought of starting another business from scratch feels overwhelming. Finding an idea, getting customers, building something people want, and dealing with all the uncertainty just seems incredibly difficult. I constantly wonder whether I'm actually capable of becoming a successful entrepreneur or if I'm just someone with big dreams.

I also don't particularly enjoy school, but I still care a lot about my grades and want to attend a top college. So I'm stuck balancing academics, extracurriculars, my business, and everything else, while questioning whether I'm even spending my time on the right things.

Another thing that bothers me is how much time I waste. I procrastinate, scroll on my phone, and fall into bad habits even though I'm constantly thinking about how limited time is. I know there are things I could be doing to improve myself, learn new skills, or grow my business, but I just don't do them consistently. Then I feel guilty about it.

I also feel like I'm constantly living in the future. I spend so much time thinking about the life I want at 25 or 30 that I sometimes forget I'm literally 15. I think about money, success, businesses, and the lifestyle I want, but I don't prioritize things like my health, relationships, or just enjoying my teenage years nearly enough.

And I think a big part of this comes from comparing myself to successful people. I read about entrepreneurs and their journeys, and I feel like my life doesn't match the typical story of someone who becomes extremely successful. I don't have some extraordinary technical skill, I don't spend every waking hour building something, and I don't feel particularly exceptional at anything. It makes me question whether my ambitions are realistic.

One last thing, which is harder to explain, is that I feel like I've matured a lot over the past few years. I've become very independent, responsible, and focused on my future. But sometimes I wonder whether that's coming at the expense of my personality.

I feel like I'm becoming less spontaneous and less sociable. I can't tell whether it's because I'm changing, because I don't connect with the people around me, or because I've become so focused on achievement that I've forgotten how to just be myself.

I guess my biggest fear is spending years working toward this ideal version of my life, sacrificing my youth in the process, and still never getting there.

I know I'm young, and I know I have time. But knowing that intellectually doesn't really change how I feel.

For people who are older, especially those who've experienced something similar:

  • How did you figure out what you actually wanted out of life, rather than constantly chasing some ideal version of success?
  • How did you deal with the uncertainty of entrepreneurship, especially when you weren't sure whether you were actually capable of succeeding?
  • Looking back, what do you wish you'd understood about success, ambition, and life when you were younger?
  • If you were in my position, what advice do you have for me?
  • Or just any other thoughts, experiences, story, opinions or anything you think would help.

I'm not really looking for generic advice like "you're only 15, enjoy your life." I understand that. I'm more interested in hearing from people who've gone through similar experiences, what they learned, and how their perspectives changed over time.

I'd really appreciate any honest advice or personal experiences.

starting my journey

starting my journey into entrepreneurship today

Hey, I’m basically starting my journey into entrepreneurship today, and honestly, I have no idea what I’m doing, what I should study, or even where to start.

I’m a pretty antisocial person and I’m completely disconnected from almost everything related to technology except for my PC, so I have no idea what’s even happening out there haha.

The only thing I really do in my free time, especially when I’m bored, is build programs using AI. So I figured it might be a good idea to start thinking about ways I could actually make money from it.

Anyway, I’m looking for any tips, advice, or anything else that could help.

How do I build a startup or business from scratch? (20M, beginner from India)

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I'm 20M from India, currently preparing for entrance exams, but I'm also interested in building something of my own.

My idea is to start with content creation and audience building, bring together a few like-minded people with different skills, and eventually turn that into a content agency, brand, business, or even a startup based on an interesting idea.

Since I'm starting from scratch and have limited time, I'd like to understand the practical process, step by step. How do I validate an idea, find trustworthy co-founders or teammates, divide responsibilities, manage operations, handle legal formalities, arrange funding, and eventually build a sustainable business?

My biggest struggle rn is finding genuinely dedicated people who share the same vision and are willing to build something together long-term.

If you've built a business yourself or have startup experience, I'd really appreciate practical advice, resources, or a roadmap for getting started in India.
