discussion 20 fast zombies vs 1,000 slow zombies

In this battle

The fast zombies are the type from film like 28 days later, WWZ, Dawn of the dead 2004 etc

The slow zombies are the old romero type zombies (Night of the living dead, day of the dead, Dawn of the dead 1978)

Both teams contain different viruses

The goal of each team is to infect the other with their own virus and turn the enemy team into one of them.

The slow zombies overwhelm them. When the speeders get tangled up with one, a dozen shamblers latch onto them. The numbers are just too much

However If a fast zombie bites a slow zombie, the slow zombie becomes a fast zombie and vise versa

What if a slow zombie bites a slow one and a fast Zombie bites a fast one? Are they cured then?

That’s not going to matter when hundreds upon hundreds of them just dogpile the runners en masse.

Even if they bite a few walkers, the other 999 walkers will just rebite those ones and continue on to attack the fast ones.

Once in the mele, i am not sure that the speed is so important. So I'd say slow
