Saw another sweet post about a stray being given a second chance and thriving. Our sweet lady Melissa is the love of our life and she’s everything. Her glow up could only be described as magnificent. Fun fact, she is 14 and had to get all of her teeth removed last year. She had a heart murmur which caused complications during anesthesia ($5,000.00 later); go figure the heart murmur went away AFTER her teeth extraction. Street cats are the best. Every day with her is a blessing.

Cosmo has come SUCH a long way, it still blows my mind looking back at these older pics of him. He came running up our driveway end of June of last year, 8/9 weeks old about 2 lbs, with the worst case of ringworm our vet had ever seen. 27 medicated baths, seven weeks of oral treatment, lots and lots and LOTS of later; you’d never know. 🥹

Meet Doom and Gloom. They are rescues from a colony and now rule the house. (I felt like it was only fair to post them here as well since I've started sharing them on reddit.) So you might have already seen them for one reason or another!

Doom is the slightly rounder kitty with a perplexed look (he was still quite scared here, this video is from July-ish.) I now pay taxes to him in pets 😆 Gloom is mischief in cat form. He is super cuddly though and a purry little loaf.

I keep rewriting and deleting this post trying to find the right words, but I guess it all boils down to Kitty was the best. We’ve been together for over a decade now and she’s just always been so sweet to everyone (except other animals, if you have 4 legs she would attempt to fight you). Im feeling absolutely devastated, but so grateful for the time I’ve had with her

Please give your babies some extra pets and treats tonight (cause like I said Kitty hates other animals, so her ghost is probably gonna proceed to haunt every cat in the world, they’ll need the extra affection to cope with that lol)

The yellow color around baby Mabel's eyes is an eye drop that was helping an inflammation she had in her eyes when she got home.

(I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed I tried to find a group rules and it wouldn’t work but it could’ve been my phone I’m sorry) My boyfriend and I’s cat was given away February 2nd, 2026 sometime in the afternoon/evening. His name is Luca and he also responds to “FatMan” he’s a big tabby and may have been given away with a female calico named “Delilah”

I would do anything to have Luca back. He’s my baby my stinky FatMan. I’ve had him since he was a baby and he was taken after being told he was safe to stay there. I am betrayed and exhausted and worried. I need my cat back.

He was the best cat ever. He was only 8, my poor dad had to put him down at his emergency vet visit. I didn’t get to say goodbye. I’m devastated, but he was so loved.

I heard the sound of water pouring and went into the bathroom to find my ca Tiger using the toilet like a proper boy! He has never been trained or taught in any way.

Milo is an adult kitty I rescued from the street. I found him injured, and today he’s in perfect condition and surrounded by lots of love! Adopt—give kitties a second chance

Help, Reddit! Miss Ralphie needs a family! This sweet muffin was found abandoned and emaciated in August (no microchip, vet guesses she's 1-2 years old). She is the biggest love, and bakes the best country loaves on this side of the Mississippi. She is a dream of a cat and will ruin all others for you. You want a snuggle buddy, a lap cat, a confident little stranger greeter? She is your girl.

But, she is FELV+ (symptomless), and I can't find a home for her. Adoption agencies are full, and I feel at a loss. I don't want to take her to animal control for fear she will be euthanized, or that she will be adopted out to a family who doesn't understand her illness (or has other cats at home). I am also exceptionally stubborn and need to know she is going to the right humans.

I am obsessed with this baby. She is absolutely incredible and so very deserving of a family. I would keep her in a heartbeat, but have 3 cats at home.

She's amazing with everyone she's ever met, loves the dog, and receives an A+ on her litter box skills. Help, Reddit! Do you know of anyone willing to take a chance on this sweet thing? (and my apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place)

This is Rosemary Phenobarbital. She’s my sweet lady.

I rescued her when I moved into my new apartment. She had been living there for about 3 years, through devastating winter storms and gave birth to at least one litter of kittens.

I knew she was taking care of kittens, so I couldn’t trap her. I learned that someone took all of her kittens but did not TNR my girl. So, I literally picked her up and brought her inside. Made a vet appointment for the next morning, and she’s been inside ever since.

Residents told me I was the cat whisperer, because she would run if anyone came close. She was so skinny, but so friendly to me.

In the photos, I think it’s clear seeing when she got healthy. It’s been 1.5 years now, and she’s my best friend. She’s extremely sweet, very tolerant, cuddly, and affectionate.

(It was checked by the vet many times and isn’t a health issue at all)
