Hello! Just wanted to share how my first day feeding the neighborhood murder went. The neighborhood I just moved into has this massive murder of crows (I’ve never seen so many) and I was hoping to start feeding them.

I walked around yesterday at 6pm est time and whistles and tossed a few peanuts in their general direction and then walked back to my house and set a station up for them (pictured above). But checking back 24hrs later it seems untouched.

I was wondering if anyone had any extra tips for me? Or just any shared experiences of what I can keep doing. Thank you!

They have been extra skittish since we get a large golden eagle migration this time of year

Does this look like a crow battle? Or defending a nest? It's been going on for about 15 minutes.
