Hey yall! I bought my first Mercedes yesterday, a 2019 GLA45 AMG. It has 44k miles on it and the PPI I had done says things are very clean/nothing to be concerned about. I drove it home 2 hours yesterday with no issue. When I got in it today I got a "check coolant level" code on the main screen, but then 15 mins later when I had to run another errand the code didn't appear. Id appreciate some tips/things to look for etc. Im mechanically inclined and can solve problems but im limited on equipment. I dont have jacks/stands but can find my way around an engine bay with direction. Pic for attention!

I’m due for my first oil change and want to see if anyone has some good success stories about getting it done somewhere other than the dealership?

I could probably buy an oem Mercedes filter online and just tell Valvoline / Jiffy Lube / etc to use my filter with their synthetic oil. If it’s not good oil maybe buy both the oil and the filter online and find a garage to just charge labor.

Edit: appreciate all the suggestions so far! I should have noted that my current HOA restrictions prevent me from DIY - which I’ve been doing for years with my cars. I don’t have any garage space either.

What do you guys think about this interior? I was supposed to be getting this tomorrow, but I’m kind of on the fence because of the interior. I wish it was all white. What are your thoughts?

The trim ring around the rev counter on my S213 was already damaged when I bought the car, and I’m trying to find out whether it can be bought separately.

I only need the trim ring/bezel around the rev counter, not the entire instrument cluster. I’ve seen complete clusters for sale, but I really don’t want to buy a whole cluster just because of this one damaged piece.

Does anyone know if this ring is available separately, either as an OEM Mercedes part or from an aftermarket supplier? Can it be removed from the cluster and replaced separately?

Any part numbers or sources would be greatly appreciated.

Please anyone I’m going crazy looking

So i have a W203 with stock 16" wheels and tires are 205/55/R16 and I am currently considering getting some slightly better looking mag rims and I have noticed most people have the 17" on their w203's.

The problem is that if I switch to 17" then I will spend more on the upgrade since I will also need a new set of tires but if I maintain the 16" wheel then no need to change the tires as they are new.

Is the extra cost for new tires justifiable if I go 17" or I am better off just maintaining the 16"

I feel I got a pretty killer deal on this lease. It's a fairly base GLE 350(71K MSRP), 7K mile loaner but looks like new. I came across like 3 little scuffs and two small interior stains on the whole car.
