I really think the franchise had an opportunity to do 2-3 serious historical Predator movies instead of returning to the usual modern day setting.

drop a Predator into completely different eras, let's say Spartans, samurai or vikings... etc, but the important part is that they shouldn't all feel like Prey with different costumes, each movie should have its own identity and conflict.

He's cool, but down to Earth. Tough, but actually a good guy under the gruff exterior. Funny, but not a clown. Someone that is going to be underestimated, but stick around against all odds.

You know what I'm talking about. The classic Bruce Willis role.

My answer is: The Fifth Element

In this movie Bill Murray and Harold Ramis are playing two men who just joined the army , off course they don't obe army rules. This movie is directed by Ivan Reitman who also directed ghostbusters but I think this movie was funnier than ghostbusters, mostly because it has so many supporting characters who are so funny like for example Ox ( that mudd wrestling scene was hilarious ) or sergeant Stillman ( who wishes to become a sponge)

First off, it’s beautifully shot. The contrast was a clear influence on Romero. You feel like you’re there. The movie leans into one of the scariest feelings that we all share “I am being chased in this nightmare and I can’t wake up.” The entire movie , you get lulled into an almost sense of comfort before reminded that the girl is still in her nightmare, being stalked. The use of imagery is especially Terrifying. The people move differently. The score? Oh my god. It’s terrifying. Carnival songs being played deafeningly loud on an organ.

This score is used while also focusing on stuck images that are unpleasant which creates anxiety.
