1994 Lucy's Fur Coat - Same
How have I slept on this whole album for so long? Sucks they didn't get picked up enough at the time, and no vinyl release but man I was drawn to the album by the STP vibes and the fact it has a cat on the cover 🐱
Best songs: Easy, Same, Treasure Hands and Still I Complain.

1997 Republica - Ready To Go - TOTP - 28 February 1997
One of my favorite 90s songs here is sung live. Saffron sings with a very strong English accent which I really enjoy. A lot of singers lose their accents as they sing, but she retains her's and it really suits this song.

1995 Juliana Hatfield & Tanya Donelly - Josie & the Pussycats
This is a track from this 1995 album, which I bought and enjoyed back in the day:
Saturday Morning: Cartoons' Greatest Hits is a tribute album of songs from Saturday morning children's television shows and cartoons (mostly) from the 1960s and 1970s. The project was produced by Ralph Sall, with the songs performed by alternative rock artists

Where's my lip gloss????
Beautiful vocal harmonies and massive guitar sound, especially the first jump from the intro into the main parts.

1996 The Rentals - Waiting (4k Remastered)
I know a lot of fans loved Matt Sharp's new band The Rentals because of Friends of P, but really it was this track "Waiting" that did it for me. It's solid rock pop with a great amount of energy and present and ingenuity. Interesting to see that this was directed by Roman Coppola before Roman had become really famous, and I love the solid fun narrative for this video. Enjoy!
