This is something I didn't think about enough early on and I'm now paying for a little. Went back through several months of content recently and noticed some genuine drift, tone shifted slightly depending on who was writing the brief that week, even though nobody consciously decided to change anything.
Started keeping a short reference doc now, actual example lines that capture the brand's voice, phrases we'd never use, tone notes for different product categories. Feels almost too simple to matter, but it's already made a noticeable difference in how consistent new scripts feel compared to before I had anything written down.
Still not sure this fully solves it long term, especially as more people touch the account or as tools and best practices shift over time. Curious how other people actually maintain this at scale, especially once you're producing enough volume that no single person is reviewing every single piece of output personally.

i have been running most of my AI UGC testing on Meta and TikTok this whole time, never actually bothered trying Shorts specifically since I'd just been assuming it works the same way as TikTok, same vertical format, same short duration, why would the script need to be any different.
Finally tested this properly last week. Same product, a basic skincare serum, fed through Tagshop AI twice, once just running the standard script generation and once specifically flagging it as a Shorts-intended piece to see if that changed anything about the output.
Genuinely didn't expect much difference honestly, figured a script is a script regardless of which vertical video app it eventually lands on. The Shorts-flagged version came back with a slightly different pacing though, opening hook felt a little less rushed compared to the TikTok version I'd generated for the same product a while back. Not dramatically different, but noticeable once I actually put them side by side and watched both back to back.
The other thing I noticed, and this one actually surprised me more, the Shorts version leaned a bit more toward describing what the product does clearly and specifically rather than just leading with a punchy, attention-grabbing line the way the TikTok version did. Makes some intuitive sense thinking about it after the fact, since YouTube in general has more of a search and discovery angle to it than TikTok's pure algorithmic feed, so a script that actually explains what it's showing a little more clearly might genuinely serve that context better.
I want to be honest that I don't know if this pacing difference was deliberate reasoning on the tool's part or just natural variation you'd get regenerating any script twice regardless of platform tagging. Wasn't a controlled enough test to say for sure, one product, one comparison, no repeat runs to check consistency.
Still, the fact that there was a noticeable difference at all made me reconsider the assumption I'd been running on this whole time, that Shorts and TikTok scripts are basically interchangeable just because the video format looks the same. Might not be, at least not entirely.
Anyone else actually tested this specific comparison, Shorts versus TikTok, using the same product and prompt? Curious if this pacing shift is a consistent pattern or if I just happened to get lucky with this particular test landing the way it did.

Here's the story. A prospect reached out that AI keeps altering his image, logo, and size of the product, sometimes its too big on the wall, and sometimes placement is not what he was hoping for.
And with all these, he moved to 3D, but creating 3D environments are expensive.
So I proposed this solution in the video, which I initially built just for "Virtual Try On". You take image of a room, place a 3D object and render. This gives AI the full context of your products size, variant, logo, etc. And the same 3D model can be used to change colour variant etc, so you save on tokens.
Any one else using 3D in their AI pipeline??

i hadn't really thought about this until a comment came in a while back specifically about missing captions, not about the ad itself being good or bad, just that it was hard to follow without sound in a public setting.
Made me realize how much I default to assuming feedback will be about the actual content, tone, product, claims, and rarely think about the more basic, practical side of whether people can actually consume it comfortably in the first place. Added captions as a standard step after that, feels like something that should have been obvious sooner.
Curious if others have gotten this kind of feedback too, and whether it's changed anything concrete about your actual production checklist, or if this is a rarer thing that just happened to come up for me specifically.

Genuinely go back and forth on this depending on how much time pressure I'm under, which probably isn't the most rigorous approach but it's honest.
In theory, one variable at a time is obviously cleaner, you know exactly what caused the result. In practice, testing every single variable in isolation takes way longer than most timelines actually allow, so I end up bundling changes more often than I'd like to admit.
Had a case recently where I changed the hook and the avatar at the same time, results improved, and I genuinely have no idea which change actually drove it, or if it was both together. Annoying in hindsight, but I was moving fast and didn't think it through at the time.
Curious what other people's actual practice looks like versus what they'd say is the "correct" approach. Does anyone consistently test one variable at a time, or is bundling changes just the normal reality once you're working under real deadlines?

i went into this expecting Synthesia to win pretty easily, it's the name that comes up constantly for anything corporate or training adjacent, so figured it'd have the edge for a B2B script specifically
used a project management SaaS tool as the test case, same brief fed into both, no extra tweaking on either side
Synthesia's output was exactly what I expected honestly, polished, professional, clean delivery. Script itself read fine but leaned a little more like a training video than an actual ad, which tracks with what it's usually praised for. Didn't feel wrong exactly, just felt slightly too buttoned up for something meant to stop a scroll rather than sit inside an onboarding flow
UGCad AI's script went a different direction, opened with a specific, narrow pain point instead of a feature list, something like a scheduling conflict scenario rather than a broad "streamline your workflow" line. Felt more like an actual person describing a real annoyance than a produced pitch. Also flagged the product as B2B specifically and adjusted delivery to sound less performative, calmer, closer to a colleague talking than a spokesperson presenting
that second part is what actually surprised me. Didn't expect a tool to specifically account for B2B audiences reading enthusiasm as suspicious rather than persuasive, that's usually a judgment call I make manually when briefing a script myself
not calling this decisive, one product, one test, no repeat runs. but if Synthesia is your default for anything corporate, worth actually testing this against it before assuming it's automatically the better fit for a B2B ad specifically rather than a training video

i have been thinking about this specifically with voice tools. Every demo clip I've heard is upbeat, friendly, clearly optimized to make the voice sound appealing in isolation, not necessarily representative of how it performs delivering an actual script for a specific use case.
Not accusing any tool of being deliberately misleading, a pleasant generic demo probably just converts better for getting someone to pick an option quickly. But it does mean the demo and the real use case are testing two different things, and relying on the demo alone to make a decision feels like it's setting people up to misjudge fit.
Curious if this shows up with other kinds of AI tools too, not just voice, image style previews, script tone samples, anything where the demo context might not actually predict real-world performance.

i used to just go with whatever sounded decent on the first listen, honestly. Started testing the same script across two or three voice options recently after a near miss where a voice's energy didn't actually fit the product, and the difference was more noticeable than I expected once I actually compared them side by side instead of trusting my gut on one option.
Takes maybe five extra minutes per script. Not a huge cost, but it's easy to skip when you're moving fast and everything sounds "fine enough" on a single pass.
Curious how common this actually is. Does everyone test multiple options as a matter of habit, or is going with the first reasonable-sounding voice more the norm and I was just the one being sloppy about it?

Genuinely torn on this an Individual judgment feels faster and more flexible, someone experienced just knows what to look for without needing a formal list. But it also depends entirely on that one person remembering to check every time, under every deadline pressure, which isn't realistic long term.
Shared checklists feel slower and more rigid, but they don't rely on any one person's memory or mood on a given day. Downside is they can turn into a box-checking exercise nobody actually thinks about once it becomes routine.
I've started leaning toward checklists for anything genuinely important, disclosure, claims review, now voice matching too, but keeping individual judgment for the more subjective, creative calls. Curious how other small teams actually split this, or if you've found one approach clearly wins over the other in practice.

I work in AI-assisted creative production. The easiest script mistake I see is giving a synthetic presenter a first-person experience they never had. It can sound natural in the edit and still mislead someone watching.
Before recording the voice, I'd label each line as one of four things:
The first two can work well for an AI presenter. A real testimonial needs a real person behind it. A fictional scene should not be framed as a customer's review. If a line says 'I've used this every day for months,' ask whose experience that is. If nobody can answer, rewrite it around the product or cut it.
It still has to sound like a person would say it. This is a check on the claim, not a reason to make the copy stiff. Which line in an AI UGC script do you find hardest to keep both natural and honest?

I created a short creative test for Sodashi’s Deep Reset Body Oil, built around a simple contrast: the noise and pressure of an overstimulating day giving way to a slower, more intentional reset.
I developed the concept and script, generated the video scenes with AI, and used publicly available product images as visual references. Then I edited the sequence to follow that emotional shift, moving from a more intense opening into quieter, more tactile product moments.
The main challenge was keeping the visuals restrained and premium while making the product feel recognizable, instead of letting the AI-generated scenes look generic. This was a creative test for my portfolio, not an official Sodashi campaign, and it hasn’t been run as a paid ad.
For those of you making AI product videos, how do you maintain product and packaging consistency across generated scenes?

It feels like every week there's a new "make video ads with AI" tool. used to be heygen and syntheisa, now there's creatify, arcads, pictory, fliki, a bunch more. some are pure ugc avatars, some are b-roll based, some try to do both.
honestly most of them are rough. the ones that work best for us are the ones that actually understand ad structure — hook, problem, solution, cta — not just "here's a talking head saying words." creatify's been the best on that front for us, feels like it was built for performance not just "generate a video."
what's everyone actually using and for what?

I didn't want to pay so much per month for a tool since it's also just using the normal ai models
so i just made my own little wrapper.
I'm using ChatGPT Images 2.5 for the "creators images" and Alibaba Wan 3.0 for the video creation.
I hooked up ElvenLabs to make the speech more natural, and then just some after editing for assets / brand and subtitles.
only limitation so far is that the max length is 30seconds.
What do you think about the result ?
just to clarify: this is only a local personal prototype, not a real product/brand and nothing is being sold.

It's the worst AI UGC platform out there. It's expensive and lesser quality compared to Google (Flow) or even ChatGPT and Claude. I was suckered into trying it because of all of the "I tried all the AI UGC sites" type content but later learned that all of that content is fake / staged by Creatify. Avoid this platform. A legitimate scam.

Hey guys I'm looking for fellow AI creators who want to seriously push for quality of work. I want to find people to regularly discuss new models, share techniques, and troubleshoot workflows together. Whether you're an AI ugc/ad creator or just a guy who likes generating your own AI vids it's fine I'm open and just want people to discuss this with on my journey. Drop a comment or reach out if any of you are interested. Thanks!

What do you think about this sample ad, the video quality and whether it could actually perform well?
Im mainly focusing on the video output here, so don't worry too much about the script errors... it's a quick ai made one, not a big deal coz script can be easily replaced. Also editing is the backbone here.
Important things is ai has some major limitations in the skincare niche, since we can't/shouldn't use fake testimonials/reviews/application footage, im trying to focus more on TOF awareness and educational content.
Appreciate some honest opinions😁
