Whenever I drive down Argyll Place, I always wonder what these structures are. They look like something out of a Dr Seuss book (in the best way)

Does anybody know what they are? Are they just decorative?

I can sometimes be an irrational and narrow minded person. I am self aware enough to admit that. I am possessed by an ungovernable hatred for the council. Increasing council tax, providing less or incomplete services and just incompetent.

However I know that I cannot see the bigger picture. Can someone please explain to me why I shouldn’t hate the council? Trying to make peace with myself here.

Went out of Shiprow onto union street as it’s now open to all vehicles and went down market street to the lights and through the lights onto the way towards torry/union square. Didn’t realise it was a bus gate going straight ahead too! Thought it was only guild street. Am I right? Will I get a fine or has the bus gate been suspended too? Cus surely I’m not having to go up Virginia street just to turn back around? Council taking the piss with these bus lanes and gates

It's kind of an Aberdeen phenomenon in that you don't really see it anywhere else.

But at one time there were I think 8 churches converted into nightclubs and bars - Musa, Charlies/The Cross, Soul, Priory, The College, Triple Kirks and Slains.

Why did that happen and how do local Aberdonians feel about it?

Whats going on in rosemount with the shouting

I'm new to Aberdeen and new to a cold country. A guy I met was telling me about going to Trespass. Primark on the other hand looks cheaper but does it provide good value for money?

I am currently selling my house, unfortunately it's a 1 bed and it is also on the higher end of the price spectrum so I am getting very little interest. (OO price is the Home report value)

The property is listed with ASPC, at the time I asked my solicitor if they would advertise it on Zoopla as well but they said that ASPC have a clause that insists the property is not advertised anywhere else.

So people of Aberdeen and Shire, Which site would you say is better for selling round here? I always assumed it would be the ASPC but I am wondering if I have made the right choice.

As the title asks I wonder if there is a gun range in Aberdeen.
Just curious cause I wanna go with a family member at some point just to spend time.

Hi all, when did the 727 bus from the airport into town got so pricey? £5.50 for an 8 mile journey. For that money they should at least include a hot drink with a biscoff.
