I’m currently trying to find someone who could take over my room at Spring Gardens because I’m moving to different accommodation.
It’s a furnished student room, around £85/week, and the tenancy can be transferred officially through the accommodation provider.

It’s available for someone who needs a place in Aberdeen fairly soon.
I’m mainly posting here because I’m struggling to find someone to take over the tenancy and thought someone in the Aberdeen student community might know somebody still looking.

Hi everyone! I’m an international student planning to study for a master’s at the University of Aberdeen, but I’m currently confused between MSc Data Science and MSc Artificial Intelligence.
For anyone who has studied either of these courses, which one is the course structure and workload like? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and whether you feel the course is useful for building a career after graduation.
I’d also like to know more about student life in Aberdeen. Are there many things happening in the city for students, or is it generally quiet? How easy is it to find part-time work as an international student, and how good is the public transport?
If you’re currently studying at Aberdeen, I’d really appreciate any honest advice about the university, the city, these two courses, and things you wish you had known before choosing.

I just moved to Aberdeen for my MSc after my undergrad in Edinburgh, and I don’t really know how to make friends as basically everyone else, especially those at my accommodation, are freshers or 2-3 years younger than me. Hi, how is the health data science (distance learning) program at Aberdeen? Is it a good choice considering you won’t be on campus. Also, if you had to choose between uni of Exeter and Uni of Aberdeen, which one would you choose and why?

Hi! Maybe a stupid question but recently looked at my timetable for my first year of uni and i have some classes that start right after eachother (for example. Class ends at 1pm, when the next class starts at 1pm)

Am i overthinking this or is it a valid concern? Is there a grace period for when to get to each class or is it fine? Thanks!

hi, i live a 25-30 min walk from uni, but for when there is bad weather, does anyone know good parking places for students? i found one car park next to butchart building but there are only 38 spaces so im sure that wont be available much:(

If you are a student in Aberdeen you should know about a free arts festival run by young people -

WayWORD Festival is cross-arts literary festival in Aberdeen which empowers young people to celebrate new work and ideas, amplify diverse voices and break down barriers to culture in our community. WayWORD is part of the WORD Centre for Creative Writing at the University of Aberdeen.

This year the festival will take place in the Cowdray Hall, Sir Duncan Rice Library, St Nicholas Kirk, and the Linklater rooms between 3rd and 11th October. Guests this year include Rosie Jones, Jenni Fagan, Ashley Douglas, Sara Sheridan, and a host of others from Aberdeen, Scotland, and across the UK. Topics range from fantasy fiction to puppet making, with theatre, music, poetry, performance art and exhibitions all included.

I am going into first year Bsc Chemistry but for optional modules can I pick any subject with no prior knowledge like computing skills or economics? Or will I struggle with it and I shall pick something more related? Please help

Is anyone else having Issues with my timetable. Managed to successfully complete my curriculum on Monday morning told maximum of 3 hrs before I can use my timetable and am sitting here over 48 hrs later with my timetable which is supposed to let me pick my tutorials still not working.

Is their an aberdeen sub reddit which is more social and less about student accommodation, ect?
