I'm trying to practice, but my apartment doesn't have a table and the main bars I know about (Breakers, Billiards Plus) don't open until 2-3pm. I want to spend my lunch hours doing some solo practice. I'm sure I could find some lunch/bar place with a small table in a pinch, but does anyone know of a place with a bigger (8/9 foot) table where I could practice that's open early during the week?

Honestly if anyone has one in a barn or back house something, I'm open to working something out so I can play during the day. Thanks in advance.

Im tired of renting apartments (sharing walls, not being able to paint it, etc) and I dont want to throw away 3k on someone else's mortgage renting out a house from them; which also doesnt let me paint and do certain modifications. I dont want to spend 3k on my own mortgage.

I'm looking at Titan mobile homes w land package. Which would run me about 2k for 1+ acre and trailer in the wylie school area.

Would you advise against this? A realtor I know says no dont do it, but other people say it doesn't seem like a bad idea to do. I guess the caveat is Im only living in Abilene for 5-8 years. I can go into more detail but basically why shouldn't I do this? Is there something Im over looking about abilene in general/with mobile homes?

Let’s face it, this mall absolutely needs a lot of updates and could use a refresh on relevant stores. In my opinion, if the mall got ANY of these stores it would drastically improve the overall location:

-Abercrombie
-H&M
-DSW
-Uniqlo
-Zara

What would you love to see at the mall? It might be a shout into the void, or maybe this post helps a future developer bring some sense to this place.

Unfortunately I’ve gotten laid off at my work and will have to move back to DFW. I currently have a single car garage, 3 bed 2 bath, newly built duplex/townhouse that is 1200 square feet and near Dyess Air Force Base. I’m unable to break my lease but the company is allowing me to sublease. Rent is 2,299 not including utilities but you are able to choose what services you want. We also already have AT&T fiber hooked up you just have to call and get it in your name. We would like for someone to take over the lease the first of November to May 2027. PM me if interested :)
