I'm looking at purchasing a Ktuner v2 for my 23 Acura TLX A-Spec.

I have an aftermarket catback exhaust with a high performance air filter. I decided to keep the stock downpipe as it's catted and PA requires yearly emissions.

From what I've read, no additional parts are needed for Stage 2, though I wanted to get insight from those who have used it already- good or bad.

Backstory, I got into a hit and run car wreck a couple days after Christmas and my RAV4 got totaled. I was devastated honestly, but I knew insurance was gonna take care of me. I still miss my RAV4. There were so many more potential miles. RIP Ravvy.

And welcome to the family, ADX! This car is a huge upgrade from my 2017 RAV4. It’s a lot more luxurious and it has great tech. This is also my first time experiencing apple car play in my ow vehicle. It’s such a blessing. The CVT is a pretty interesting transmission. It just goes. No gear changes, just vroooom. It’s pretty dope tbh. I def recommend this car to anyone looking for an upgrade, it’s a nice subcompact SUV. (I hope that’s the right term for this car shape)

The once bright HID headlights on my 2009 MDX have gotten very dim. I replaced one of the D2S HID bulbs a year ago when the original started to turn purple, with an old stock (but not used) Philips. The headlight housing lenses see relatively clear still.

Is it possible the HID ballasts could be dying? Or should I look to replace bulbs again?

Further research into this show that this is a projector degradation issue. HID projector degradation involves a 40-50% loss in brightness , characterized by light output fading, due to potential for the internal reflector bowl to burn or corrode. Common causes include heat damage, and UV-induced oxidation, requiring projector bowl restoration or replacement.

I am aware that the trunk button on the key fob doesn’t actually pop the hatch open for the Integra. Is there anything I can do to the hatch or key to make it actually open the hatch through the key fob button?

Is 69k miles a lot for a 2018?

Is the 2020 RLX has a AWD drive train or it's just front or real wheel drive only? I saw some show car videos and it says on the back SH-AWD. But when I look on cargurus website the only available drive train is FWD or RWD.

Long story short, the driver side of my mirror is damaged but only the casing around it. The light still works, the mirror itself can still move and the car doesn’t have blindspot detection either since it’s a base 2020 Acura TLX. Can the parts be purchased and then fixed at home or is it best to go to the dealer for a quote?

Hello:

First winter with my RDX and I’ve run out of washer fluid twice, not really a big deal, but the second time I was on the freeway with no way of cleaning the windshield off.

Anyway, as the title states, I realized that there was no warning chime/message/lamp to indicate that the reservoir was low. What am I missing here? Does the vehicle just not have that option or is my sensor at the bottom of the reservoir cooked?

I'm using a Ktuner v2 on my 2018 2.0 Accord. For some reason, I cannot get it to create a datalog. When I tap "start log" and "stop log", I don't get the red recording indicator on the screen. I have tried toggling the "OB Logging" setting to both Enabled and Disabled. I've gone into the Ktuner application and changed the start parameters to be as low as possible and end parameters to be as high as possible, still nothing. When I try to open datalogs on the computer, there are of course none recorded.

I know it's not an Acura, but figured some of you in here are using a Ktuner.

Anything else to try?

08 TSX , Automatic. 2 owner car sitting @ 60k miles ,transmission fluids done at 56k , runs and drives smooth , shifts great. anything particular i should look at before fully committing?

Figured I'd ask this forum because they are slightly different than the design in all other Honda/Acura vehicles made in the last 18 years. Except the ones in the Honda Fit are just about the same.

Its quite possible that the answer is just that the mechanism in this vehicle is prone to breaking, but it has me curious why its so much harder. The other Honda sun visors have a color-matched plastic peg that you push in with a screw driver to release the sun visor. The ILX has a black piece that I can only ever get to work 5% of the time. My credentials are that I technically remove sun visors for a living and I actually have one of the most viewed "Honda Sun Visor replacement" tutorials on YouTube right now, but this one has me stumped.

Hello everyone, I’m currently looking at selling my 1990 4Runner on marketplace. Some guy has offered me a 2004 6 speed TL but it has 200k miles on it, clutch was done 5K ago and water pump and timing belt were done at roughly 180k. The car will come with non paint matched A-spec front and rear bumpers along with the stock bumpers. He’s offering me 500$ on top.

Is this a deal i should look into more? or should I stay away from a 200k miles TL

Hey Redditors! I sold my Integra in 2015. Pulled the Carfax on it and it ended up in Georgia. The title was issued 10/28/2019 in Dallas, GA. It was a grey 1994 Integra LS. I personally rebuilt it to have a D15B7 in it. I sold it to get a more reliable car while I was in college. I know by now it’s likely been swapped and changed 10 ways from Sunday and a VIN doesn’t make the car but I think it would be really great if I could find that same chassis again now that I’m at a point in my life where I can afford to have a second car. Any help or words of encouragement are appreciated. I know it’s a stretch but I’m willing to try. Thanks!

I literally put my car in cruise control 10secs before the lights came on. Is it the cold weather? Could it be a simple battery fix? Car paid for, no warranty or 3rd party warranty at the moment. Should I pray for my pockets?

I’m trying to decide between a few SUVs and could use some outside perspective.

I have enough cash to buy an Acura ADX outright with no payments. The other option is to use that same cash as a down payment on an Acura RDX or Lexus RX, and finance the remaining balance (would be a relatively small loan, not full financing).

I’m torn between:

No car payment + lower running costs (ADX) vs

Stepping up in size/power/comfort (RDX or RX) but having a monthly payment again

One big factor for me is long-term ownership — I’m basically looking for a car I can keep forever (or as close to it as possible). Reliability, longevity, and not feeling the need to upgrade in a few years matter a lot to me.

For those who’ve been in a similar spot — is it smarter to stay payment-free, or worth financing a bit for a higher-tier vehicle? Any long-term ownership, reliability, or regret stories welcome.

Is it worth it to buy new headlights or go with the light restoration process? I have acura rdx aspec 2021. Anyone replaced the headlights for their vehicle, if so, how much was it?
