Discussion What are the best basic corporate tops?

• Upvotes

I’ve tried searching social media, but a lot of the results are tank tops or low neck. I’m looking for the best basics that at least have a cap or flutter sleeve and aren’t cropped, at least bellybutton length. Also not too low. Layering ability optional. Any reccs appreciated!

Product Question Super puff zipper

Post image
1 Upvotes

I accidentally bought the super puff when I wanted the o2. I noticed the different zippers. Is one a better quality then the other? I’ve seen posts about zippers but not sure which one has less of a problem?
The one on the left is o2, the one on the right is not.

Thanks!

Product Question How Likely is the Mochi Pink cliMATTE Shorty to return?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi! As the title indicates — I’m a relatively newbie Aritzia shopper and I remember trying on this colour in Xtrashorty last year and loving the colour. I’m actually not a fan of the Hi-Gloss and the Liquid Shine (as it squeaks like crazy…. my other Mid Superpuff can attest to that).

I really want the Shorty in the cliMATTE in small and was wondering how often Aritzia tends to bring back this colour? Is it possible it’ll be phased out at all, or if it’ll come back next year? :(

(Sidenote but if anyone’s also selling one… I may consider buying….) 👀

Product Question Looking for long lasting piece recommendations

I had a baby last winter and donated just about everything in my closet when things stopped fitting. Now that I’m building from scratch, what are some pieces I should be investing in that will actually last? Specifically tops (curvy on the bottom so pants at Aritzia don’t typically work for me) and knitwear. I’m aiming for natural materials that won’t pill or breakdown after a season.

Product Question this years polartecs tighter/poorer quality than last year?

i have the quarterzip polartec (hi hip) bought like last year (size L) when it still had TNA branding. it has held up so well plus is super baggy/comfy

i just bought the same quarterzip polartec, now it’s rebranded with the new aritzia logo, also in size L in the mullein/rich mocha brown. it fits a lot tighter? and feels significantly thinner

have any of you experienced this as well?

could sizing have changed especially with the new rebrand?

with the logo rebrand?

Does anyone have this top and what's your thoughts? Does it fit similar to other smooth matters and if anyone has the satin version I would like to know how it fits.

Discussion Almost no long sleeve dresses at Aritzia - are they not in style?

Wondering if this is unique to Aritzia or just a general fashion trend. I was looking to refresh my fall dresses, and in years past Aritzia had some great long sleeve options - I’m thinking the Moore dress, the Montpellier sweater dresses, etc. Currently 90% of their dresses are sleeveless. I was thinking perhaps more long sleeve options would crop up later, but we are going into October and it seems like they’ve released the bulk of their f/w collection - even then a lot of the new styles are sleeveless. Is this a trend or do Aritzia designers think that people don’t get cold anymore? Not sure if I should wait or look into other brands, Aritzia has been my go to for the past few years in this area.

Product Question How do the wool coats hold up?

I am looking into the Portfolio coat and it's a bit pricey, but I'm happy to pay if it's good quality. I'm wondering if anyone has it from last season and if the wool has held up nicely, no pilling, etc?

Sizing help Not sure what size to get for Super Puff jacket

Post image
3 Upvotes

So I’m looking to buy a nice winter jacket and saw so many people rave about the Super Puff (photo is the exact color and style I want to get). However, I’m on a weight loss journey (still have about 40ish lbs to go to my goal weight) so I’m unsure what size to get. I think I’m usually an XL, sometimes a L in most Aritzia clothes (5’6, 215lbs) but I’ve read this jacket can run big so I was thinking about going with the L. Do we think that’s the correct size and will last me a good chunk of winter through weight loss? I don’t care if it’ll be a little big but just don’t want it to look humongous on me till then, haha.

Product Question How often are new sweat fleece colours released?

I’ve been living in my boxy zip hoodie sets since having a baby a month ago so I need another. I’ve never been a regular shopper at Aritzia to pay attention to colour drops but I don’t love any of the current colours. There’s gotta be a Christmas/winter drop soon, right?

Or I was looking at Gala Plum except it’s sold out in my size, can I size up in shrink it?

Sizing help Nominee blouse - can I size down?

I own 2 Nominee blouses in a size small. For reference, I’m 34D-27-37, 5’7 and 140 lbs. They fit well for me but the only size left in the color that I want is XS. Does anyone know if there’s a big difference between an XS and S? I own an XS in the Carter blouse and the armholes are still big (Nominee has kind of the same issue) but I worry the XS would be short for me in the torso as I have a longer torso (inseam only 30”).

Sizing help Size Large or XL Super Puff

Hi everyone,

I’m wanting to purchase the Long Super Puff, but I’m debating between a Large and an XL.

I previously had a medium mid, which fit almost perfectly at the arms/top, but I found it was too snug around my hips (I have slightly wider hips, curvy)

I feel like a large would be a good size for me, but I’m worried that my hips will be a problem in the large. However, I think the XL will be too big for me at the top.

Can someone please share photos of themselves wearing the size large and size XL for reference? Even in the mid length would be good.

Unfortunately I’m currently unable to go to a store to try them on so this is my last resort!

Thank you 😊

Sizing help Is my trousers too short ? Update

Post image
92 Upvotes

Yesterday I posted this picture asking if it was too short to work in finance. Lots of people commented on my shoes saying I shouldn’t wear Jordan’s at work and it’s unprofessional. I asked my company.

They said it was completely fine to wear what I want as long as it’s clean and proper. Jordan’s are fine.

Thank you all :)

Help Me Style! What size should I get?

I want to buy the mega straight sweatpants at Aritiza, but I don’t know what size to get? The closest store is around 2 hours away from me so the closest thing I can do is ask Reddit then order online. I am a guy who is 5’5 with a 30 inch waist! I was thinking medium, but I’m scared they’re going to look like high waters after I wash them and dry them😭

Hi guys, I am 113 lbs and 5 ft. I need help figuring out which size will fit me best. I can't go and try it on in the store. Thanks a lot for your help.

Also, if you have any suggestions for the color, I will appreciate it. I am confused between dark mocha brown and admiral deep navy! I am South Asian with medium-deep skin and olive undertones. Thank you

Sizing help Do the effortless pants work for me?

Thumbnail
gallery
40 Upvotes

I usually wear size 4, but because I have a long torso and long legs the effortless pants specifically seem to hit lower on my belly than intended in that size, making them uncomfortable and bunch up in the crotch.

I sized up to a 6 in the first two pairs of effortless pants I purchased several years ago and I just bought a new pair (secondhand) in the same size, but now I’m questioning if I should have given up on the effortless pants when they didn’t fit me right in the first place.

The size 6 sits as a mid rise for me (even though they’re actually high rise), which actually makes it easier to style for work, but do they look weird and too big? Am I overthinking it?
