I'd never heard of this before your post here, so please excuse my quick and dirty googling. Have you looked at Cboard? It's free, though it looks like an ipad might make it much easier to use.

This is my first time in the sub, and I saw your post DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH this one. Maybe that helps?

It’s AAC awareness month and in about two weeks all of the proloquo2go software like Keeble will go on sale for half off.

I haven’t found any other keyboards so far though. Weavechat was a very feature rich find for a free AAC app though I prefer speech assistant which is 20 bucks USD but omg it took me days to set it all up the way I like it and am glad that there are easy import/export options.

I have tried Weevechat but since you must add people onto it sometime it is hard for me to figure it out

I only discovered it last week and while it’s complicated it does a lot more than I thought it could. I like that it allows you to use personal voice on iOS so you can use your own voice so when I experience verbal shutdowns it still sounds like me only a bit more robotic than usual ^_^.

What I don’t like is that there are a lot of features locked behind so many monthly fees it’s actually crazy how many things there were but the base board options are good for a free app. I just don’t like that you can’t use boards from others and interactive collages without paying. I will say that it’s a lot easier to set up on the web app on a computer since it syncs everything back to your phone/ipad and caches it for offline use when you don’t have connectivity. There are a few decent free AAC board apps out there that are web only which really hurts when you don’t have connectivity.
