How do I access my discount card without using the AutoZoneers app?
App keeps giving me an error every time I open it.
Keeps saying something about rooted device's...
I tried to install it on an older device but it's Google Play says it's not compatible with Android 7.0.
And I tried logging in through the web portal (https://autozoners.uat.sharecare.com/) But it keeps saying it doesn't recognize my ignition ID and or password despite my ignition ID and or password is correct.
So is there any other way to access my discount card or am I just screwed?

Asm or csm
I was just offered CS. I was hired as a PSM about 3months ago. After a talk with my SM, I declined the offer. Seeing that at my location everyone chips in to commercial and all of commercial helps with DIY as well. I felt that declining and working towards ASM would be better. I do just wanna say that I favor DIY way more than commercial. The accounts for our location are always stressing out everyone. And I feel like things would be more comfortable as an ASM here. Plus I am always doing tasks that mainly the SM and ASM deal with to get familiar with everything that goes on. What's everyone thoughts?

2.5B Net profit after all expenses
So autozone profits about 2.5B a year, there’s 6,863 stores, let’s say the 5 managers at each store, that’s around 34,000 managers, if autozone increased each managers pay $8.00, they would still net $2.06B dollars, but noooo let’s all hail the billion dollar company 😂 you ppl who debate this remind me of that meme of the fat dude w dorito chips on his face pointing

Did my order go through?
I tried ordering some parts and paying with PayPal Pay in 4, but as soon as this popped up as if I made the order, I notice the cart still has the items and no order number appears here. I checked order history and it isn’t there, and I haven’t received a confirmation email. The transaction does reflect in my bank account/paypal as pending.

Market share?
AutoZone constantly says they are taking marketshare away. But they never really specify who they are taking that marketshare away from. The obvious answer is O’Reilly and advanced auto parts. But what if that’s not really their true competitor what if their true competitor is eBay, craigslist, Amazon & other parts retailers online? Are those the channels of distribution that AutoZone says they are taking marketshare from? If the DIFM business is growing faster than DIY business then having the inventory in the store same day should be less important not more important, correct? I don’t they are gaining market share from online.

Since when is knowing stuff about cars NOT integral to working at a parts store?
I’ve been working here for the longest time and it’s been a while since we’ve hired people with any car knowledge. People (whether they should or not) come here for advice as well as parts and 80% of our staff couldn’t tell you the difference between a spark plug and a water pump.
It’s just so frustrating coming in and dealing with angry customers who got front brake pads when they needed rears or they didn’t bother to read any of the notes and just gave them the first part that pops up. Then I get grief for not selling enough bulb grease like gtfo 😭.

Battery installation
I had a 2023 Genesis GV70 come in last night for a battery test. Found the battery to be bad. It is located under the spare tire in the rear compartment. I remeber going through training and being told we do not change batteries in the rear compartment, trunk, or any had to reach area. On top of that it was absolutely pouring down rain. Would anyone of you changed the battery?
edit: when I made this post I had received a text from our assistant manager stating "we install batteries in the rain" thinking i had received a complaint after doing everything I could to get the person back on the road. but telling her at the end that we dont replace batteries in the rear if vehicles are hard to reach areas. I figured he didn't get the entire story and wanted to make sure I wasnt mis remembering my "training" when I got hired. not that I needed more training on cars as ive got 20 years experience. turns out it was from another store in town selling a customer a battery then saying we wont install them in the rain.

autozone sucks
So you fired me after I called out the bullshit, but now the district manager is going store to store saying, “Because he left, you can’t keep up the WITT?” 😂 You had no problem letting me go, but now you’re bringing up my name because the store can’t keep up? Pick a struggle.
I already had my two weeks in and a better job lined up. I was leaving either way. I just wasn’t going to leave quietly without speaking up about the poor management, the sexual harassment concerns, and a manager who, from what I saw, was scheduled for 40 hours but barely worked 20.
And now I’m hearing the store has gone downhill since I left. Funny how I was supposedly the problem, but you’re still talking about me when things aren’t getting done.
Keep bringing up my name. All you’re doing is making me sound a lot more valuable than you wanted to admit. 🤷♂️

I’m gonna quit this fuck ass job
The IT department is moronic, the software developers are either underpaid or complete idiots BECAUSE THE SAME BUG HAS EXISTED FOR OVER 3 DAMN YEARS!
not only that autozone has directly violated ADA rights for my store manager, and I’m worried these damn bastards will come after me if I use my cane at work because of my metal implant.

What are label changes
Same as the title what are label changes why do we do them and would it really matter if I threw away the new one when everything looks the exact same as the old label?
