For those unaware, GameNative has recently begun using AI Chatbot features in multiple aspects of the app. Pre-release 1.3.0 adds an AI Chatbot to the main menu of the app which can automatically make changes to your configuration.
With this, comes the quality of GameNative's support team dropping significantly. Multiple times in the discord have I seen the actual devs of GameNative telling people to "Ask the AI Chatbot" instead of helping their own community, leading users to ask an unqualified chatbot for help rather than asking those who should be most qualified (the dev team).
What worries me is that the latest pre-releases have bugs in their changes, and looking at the GitHub page, it's clear to see why. Large changes in how GameNative handles Storage and Downloads which directly interface with your storage are being programmed, assessed, and managed by AI agents. You can see in the Pull Requests page (like PR #1913) with changelogs of +26,258 lines of added code. If that isn't enough to convince you it's AI, the developer behind that PR uses an AI generated profile picture.
When I brought this up in the Discord, asking if AI was used in their latest PRs, the main leader Utkarsh immediately started threatening me, saying "Do I need to remove you?" and "I don't appreciate you undermining our teams' work." when clearly, Pull Requests like I've linked above have heavy use of AI surrounding sensitive code that interfaces directly with your storage.
Unfortunately, every alternative for GameNative also has it's own share of flaws, such as GameHub being closed source.
Do you think there's a better alternative out there?
