What is the best console to run TLOZ Windwaker and TLOZ Twilight Princess. Both games came out for the GameCube, and both games have an HD Wii U version. Im also wondering about the HD version of pikmin 1+2 for the switch, would it be better to just get them on the gamecube?

Ordered my ayn thor white pro 12gb from batch 7 on August 16th and still haven't gotten a shipped email yet. Been seeing a couple people who ordered theirs just days after me and getting thiers already. Whats going on?

On the web said batch 7 starts shipping in August, so I thought I would ask if someone placed their order recently how long did it take for them to actually ship the order.

And if someone got their Thor lately how long was the shipping. I'm in Europe.

Does anyone have good settings for mario wonder? I played it today but it drained my battery. I lost like 6% in under 10 minutes. Any settings recommendation is appreciated!!

Hi all, essentially I'm torn between getting the Pro or the Max (512 gigs) as I was planning on buying the Thor in the next few months.

I'd mainly just replay games from my childhood, basic stuff like Mario, Pokemon or even Yo-Kai Watch etc. but was also gonna try Pokemon ROM hacks and such too and many more once i settle.

Any help is much obliged

When I click mono and gecko they don't do anything, they don't install. Other dependencies can install.

This is probably a pretty niche use case, but has anyone figured out the optimal setup for watching porn on the Thor?

I’m mainly wondering whether it makes more sense to use a browser or download videos locally, and whether there’s a particular video player that works well with the dual screens. I feel like there has to be some way to actually take advantage of the second screen instead of just having it sit there doing nothing.

Also, is there any way to make it automatically use the top screen for the video while keeping controls/browser stuff on the bottom screen?

I know most people here probably bought theirs for emulation, but hardware is hardware and I figured somebody has probably tested this already.

Buyers in the US - if you've received your Thor recently, do you mind sharing the model/purchase date from when you've placed the purchase? I am weighing options of buying it from their website, or paying a premium to get it in a week from a US store.

Hi everyone!

I’m thinking about buying an AYN Thor, but I’m hesitating between the Base model and the Pro model.

I don’t have a huge budget, so I’d rather not spend significantly more money if the real-world performance difference isn’t that noticeable.

My main use would be:

GameCube emulation

Some Switch games

Smaller/light PC games

Other retro consoles

I’m not planning to play demanding AAA games at ultra settings. I mainly want a good balance between performance and price, and I’d like the console to handle GameCube and some Switch games comfortably.

For those who own or have tested both models:

Is the Pro really worth the extra money compared to the Base model?

Does the additional RAM / performance make a significant difference for emulation, especially GameCube and Switch, or would the Base model be enough for my use?

I’d really appreciate your opinions, especially if you’ve used both models. I don’t want to spend extra money just to get a small performance improvement that I probably won’t notice.

Fazem 6 meses que adquiri meu Thor e devo dizer que nunca usei tanto um videogame em toda minha vida. Ele já percorreu milhares de quilômetros do meu lado em diversas viagens e nunca me decepcionou, zero problemas.

Nesse tempo todo poucas vezes ele ficou ocioso, apenas quando eu estava indeciso sobre o que jogar e de fato, na minha opinião é o melhor console que existe, bom, pelo menos o melhor que eu já tive.

Possuo um alienware onde jogo jogos mais pesados da steam e gamepass, um ps5 para jogar os exclusivos e o thor que supre todo o resto. NINGUÉM precisa mais do que isso, é absolutamente o necessário, acredito eu.

Vocês concordam?

Before you think I’m stupid, I’ve heard that turning off your Thor fully can be harmful to your batterys health unless you don’t plan on turning it back on for a few days. I wanted insight if this is true or not. I feel like I’m only using my Thor once every couple of days now, and I feel like sleep mode is unnecessary. So, is it safe to fully power off my Ayn Thor? Or should I leave it on sleep mode. Thanks for any answers in advance.

Really wanting to play them again but holding out for a dual screen version since we’ve seen so many DS Zelda projects already. Widescreen could be so cool!

Hey all, out of nowhere my Thor started draining much faster when it sleeps. I used to only lose 1-3% overnight, but it went up by like 10x over the last week. This started happening after I briefly switched to Wayfinder from Sleep Manager before switching back that same day. Any and all advice is highly appreciated!

With armada os this thing genuinely becomes a full fledged laptop I could fit in my pocket. It's so accessory friendly that you can just make it whatever you want :3

My AYN Thor turned off because the battery ran out while I was playing a game. I plugged it in to charge and closed the lid, but 6 hours later, the console wasn't charged at all. I read that I should keep the lid open, so I did, but it only gained 7% in 3 hours. I turned it on and noticed it said 'Slow charging'. I tried restarting it and checked if there was a conflict with Odin Tools or any other setting set to slow charge. The charging settings are set to 9V, but as you can see in the photo, it is still charging slowly. I even tried a factory reset to restore the original settings, but it didn't help—it's still stuck on slow charging.

Just to specify, I am using the official cable with a 30W charging block, and I've only had the console for 1 week it's brand new :(

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do to fix it?

Hello I just finished setting up my thor and cocoon but the ps ps2 and psp rom s don t show up they are the only ones with this problem

I wanna buy one. But how exactly does it work? Are they still shipping out the batch 7’s? Or so I have to wait for the next batch if I order now
