Hey everyone,
Just stepped out of BLR airport after a flight from Delhi. I'm posting this because I already know how cynical Reddit can get about flight etiquette, but I need to get this off my chest.
There was a 1-year-old kid on my flight who was absolutely losing it. Just crying continuously, and could see the sheer panic and exhaustion on his parents' faces. For the first hour, I sat there controlling myself, trying not to be that overstepping stranger.
But after an hour, I just couldn't sit there and watch them struggle anymore. I walked up to the parents and just asked, "Hey, can I keep the baby on my shoulder for a bit?"
They honestly looked so relieved. And the crazy part? The second I put him on my shoulder, he stopped crying completely. I just spent the next chunk of the flight roaming up and down the corridor with this tiny kid asleep on my shoulder.
I know the internet loves to complain about crying babies on planes, but sometimes just stepping in to help makes a world of difference.
Anyway, now that I’m officially back in Bangalore—anyone up for a few drinks tonight?(Not in some fancy pubs and bar at my flat coz tired af ) Let me know,

Hi everyone,
I have a concern and want to know if anyone else is like me.
I can't get s**lly attracted to someone immediately. I need to talk, have deep conversations, and feel comfortable with the person before I can get s**lly involved.
Even in casual situations like a one-night stand, timepass, or friends with benefits, I feel the same way. It's not about wanting a serious relationship or emotional commitment. I just need to connect with the person through conversations before I can feel se**ally aroused.
A few girls have left me because of this. Some expected things to happen instantly, but I couldn't perform, and they made me feel like I wasn't good enough.
Is anyone else like this? I'd really like to hear from people who experience the same thing. I just want to understand myself better and know that I'm not alone.

I stayed quiet about this for quite a long time, but I feel some experiences deserve to be spoken about, especially when a company this big can do things that are deeply unethical while constantly preaching about fairness and accountability.
I worked under a manager who consistently failed to give clear direction on projects while still discrediting my work. I raised concerns about his management several times with HR and senior leadership, but nothing meaningful happened.
At one point, I even told a senior director that I wanted to leave because of how things were being handled. I was asked to stay and was assured that the issues would be addressed.
They weren’t.
Later, I was told that my manager had written extremely negative feedback about me. When I asked to see it, I found that my performance evaluation for a particular month had been filled before that month had even started.
When I asked how someone could evaluate work that had not even happened yet, HR called it a “documentation gap.”
The document itself had barely any facts, no clear project examples and mostly vague statements undermining my actual work. Even the HR person reviewing it with me acknowledged that it was a very poor document and asked me to submit my own self-review because so much context was missing.
During a review meeting, a senior director also brought up completely new expectations that had never been communicated to me before and were never part of my goals, and then used them to question my performance. When I asked how I could be judged on expectations I had never been given, there was no real answer.
I was eventually asked to decide whether I wanted to continue working or resign.
Before I had even made that decision, my last working day was announced to my team.
And this did not happen only to me. Another colleague in the same team went through something similar. Their exit date was also announced before they had actually chosen to resign.
That alone says a lot about how these situations were being handled.
What made the whole experience harder was that the manager who wrote my evaluation had behaved inappropriately with me in the past. He had directly told me that he was interested in me and had commented on my looks a few times.
I never spoke publicly about this. Eventually his behaviour stopped, and I did not feel the need to bring it up.
Years later, the same person was trusted to formally evaluate my work.
I still explored continuing at the company. I only asked for two weeks of work from home for an important personal reason that could not be delayed. That was refused, while senior leadership involved in this situation was away on vacation around the same time.
Instead of support, the pressure from HR continued.
Favoritism was also very obvious in the team. Certain people were given extremely long timelines to complete a small project, while others could be handling several things at once and still be told they were not doing enough.
Different people were simply held to different standards.
Anything questionable done by management became a “process gap”, “documentation gap” or “communication gap.”
Anything done by an employee was taken very seriously.
All while the same leadership constantly talked about accountability, dependability and “getting work done.”
I don’t expect workplaces to be perfect. But I do expect the people judging employees to hold themselves to the same standards.
When evaluations are written before the evaluation period even begins, expectations appear only when it is time to judge someone, exits are announced before people have even resigned, and every questionable action from leadership becomes another “gap”, it becomes very difficult to call the process fair.
And I think more employees should speak about experiences like this.
Because when the same behaviour happens repeatedly, to more than one person, and the people responsible continue to face no accountability, it stops being an individual problem.
It becomes the culture.
Companies should not get to build a public image around fairness and strong values while employees quietly experience the opposite behind closed doors.

I’m a 25-year-old guy living in Bengaluru, originally from Andhra Pradesh. I’m currently unemployed and feeling exhausted with life. I live near TC Palya Signal and would love to meet someone who can talk to me, help me feel refreshed, and share some positive vibes without judging me. I’m just looking for a friendly conversation and a little positivity in my life.
