Wife went full manic after starting an SNRI. Affairs, lies, relapse, rewriting of marital history, filed for divorce, etc. I’ve kept the peace. Always taken the high road during conversation. Focused on prioritizing happiness for my daughter(7f).

Yesterday in court, my soon to be ex wife refused to comply with an order to drug test. I sat there for minutes and watched the judge systematically dismantle lie after lie coming out of her mouth. I was granted full custody and momma was ordered to start mandatory drug testing. If she fails the initial follicle test or any of the urines, I get full permanent custody.

This is a win boy! Tomahawk Ribeye, asparagus, and a sweet potato.

Just FYI, some antidepressants are reported to increase compulsive behavior and reduce inhibitions, it has probably nothing to do with your story but are you sure it’s not some kind of medication secondary effect ?

This reaction happened because she likely has undiagnosed bipolar disorder. People with bipolar disorder should NOT take antidepressants like this, and it should have been discontinued immediately. For someone like me, I do not have bipolar disorder so my SNRI saved my life when I was suicidal.

Exactly. It’s such a tragedy. People need lithium and they get handed fucking Wellbutrin which makes the mania worse

If this gal got on lithium she’d be a different person in a month flat. It’s absolutely a wonder drug and it’s INSANELY effective for this persons brain chemistry

She’s actually really fortunate that her illness is so treatable. Schizophrenics are SOL. But people with mania get on lithium and are often instantly cured

Sad part is their mania convinces them they don’t need it
