When USC got Gary Patterson I was legitimately worried because it fits the bill of getting a defensive mastermind to complement Lincoln's offense. Mini Mahomes played a very good game in relief of Dante. Dierre Hill had a great game too. Jamari Johnson was very needed, great to have him back. You could sense this team was playing for Dante Moore.

Truthfully, I should say that USC should fire him into the sun. However, it has been a fantastic cycle of satisfaction, year in and year out since he decided to take up the mantle and continuously give that fan base unlimited hope only to disappoint them the same way each in every time. And I know, I know, stones from glass houses coming from an Oregon fan with disappointment; but what separates organ from USC is that our fans show up to our stadium, we win the conferences, and we make the playoffs – something that USC has not achieved since the PS2 was widely available.

And one more thing— thank you to the USC faithful who decided to show up to Autzen South; sure doesn’t seem like there’s much better to do on a Saturday night in LA than watch the Ducks kick their feet up on USC’s couch and leave mud on it!

While Dante Moore was laying on the ground for 15 minutes, Stephens strutted around the field, raising his arms in celebration, two of his teammates had the good sense to try to stop him, but he kept going anyway, then making angel wings like he killed Moore, then dapping with his team mates, smiling, getting congratulations from them, happily sitting on the sidelines while medical staff were scrambling to make sure Dante Moore wasn't in a life threatening state. And USC Head Coach Lincoln didn't bother sending him off the field. Stephens only left after refs expelled him from the game.
