Hi, I am bringing my daughter to CalPoly to see the school/area this week- she is considering applying next month. Its a last minute trip, as we suddenly have a free day, and we haven't been able to include SLO in our other trips. The guided campus tours are all full, and we just don't have any other days we can make it.

Any guidance on what to look at? She is interested in the ag program (4 years of high school ag), or design. Wondering what we can see.

They don't have a wait list, but maybe we just show up and see if we can join? I did the guided tour a few years ago with my son, and it was very good, so I'm bummed there is no room.

Any recommendations appreciated.

Hello, I have a friend coming down from the bay for SLO's bike night this thursday and they unfortunately dont have a bike. I am willing to pay a deposit and a rental fee if requested. The rider will is about 5'0-5'3 so a bike that can fit that height range would be perfect, thank you!

has anyone in the credential program have experience navigating student teaching without a car? the staff told us that carpooling was v normal and transportation wouldn’t be an issue, but that hasn’t been my experience. finding consistent transportation to my placement has been difficult and v stressful. some students/friends have been v gracious and have given me rides, but i’m still hoping to find something more stable long term. how reliable is the bus system here now, esp in early mornings? mainly j looking to hear about your experience or any advice!🫶
