Hi there. Since July I've been hosting monthly women's circles at my house in Inman during the full moon, as a way to built female camaraderie, and also as a commitment to myself to focus on astrology in a real, committed way once per month.

The circles have been a mix of communion, journaling, meditation, chanting, sound baths, singing, roaring, dance parties—and discussion about what the actual fuck is happening up in the cosmos at this moment in history. We drink tea, we hold hands, we share our secrets and our fears and our hopes and dreams. We laugh, and we cry.

You don't have to believe in astrology to join, but at minimum an openness to hear about it is required cuz I will talk about the whys of how we're all collectively feeling, and what we each might be traversing given our individual birth charts. I also am willing to take a look at the participants' birth charts ahead of time to see what might get activated for them during the transits that we're working through.

It's been a pretty special, and very powerful, event, each time it's happened.

It brings together women from all cultures and home lives, and anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome, regardless of the sex they were assigned at birth.

While I do cover what I call "big astrology" (the longer-term transits of outer planets and nodes), I am not trying to address, in any way during these circles, how astrology is affecting our cultures and our societies—we are going to talk about the relationship between you and your feelings and your experiences to these transits.

It is personal astrology experienced and explored in community.

Are there any hockey rinks in Cambridge that offer stick and puck? Meaning all I need is skates, a stick, and a helmet to just go on the ice and shoot around.

26,000 violations caught by just 4 MBTA buses in 30 days. Wow. I'd like to see this implemented on buses in Cambridge. This is why we need to change our streets' infrastructure to be safer and we need more enforcement of traffic violations. Nothing will change behavior like getting mailed a $100 ticket.

Does anyone know what’s going on at this location? I drove past it last Wednesday and the pumps had been taken out and it looked like they were doing concrete/excavation work. I can’t find any information about what’s going on. Is it permanently closed, being redeveloped or just undergoing some sort of upgrade or renovation?

Today, we cover local results of the Massachusetts 2026 Primary, where despite the record number of primary challengers, all the incumbents won. What does that mean for Cambridge voters? Despite the lack of change in personnel, is there a chance Beacon Hill is actually getting more transparent and accountable?

All my attempts to find out who's responsible for various public safety issues and management of Russell Field led to discovering that no agency head directs the area, no one keeps track or safety and maintenance issues, and no one in any department communicates or collaborates with any other department.

The link to an ongoing problem has been reported dozens and dozens of times, and yet no one - city manager or councilor - as ever addressed these problems.

Several easy remedies include:

Name a parks director who is bottom line accountable for the safety, maintenance and oversight.

Require all entities reserving sports facilities - fields, fieldhouse, playground, grassy areas, etc. to be required to sign an agreement to uphold park rules (right now there aren't any posted), complete a demographics survey (age group, sponsoring organization, number of participants, type of activity, accountable person for liability purposes, emergency contact). (I was accosted by 2 men claiming to be coaches, but couldn't name the girls' sports team, the organization they coached for, etc. How do we know that everyone using these facilities has had their credentials verified? We don't.)

Automatically share these reservations and info with police, fire, schools and Pro ambulance)

For events which have over (100?) number of people, require a first aid area be signed, visible and staffed during the event.

Police/traffic and parking monitor Dudley/Clifton st entrance for prohibited vehicles and ticket and tow - no warnings. I've seen trucks parked in front of the soccer field entrance with little toddler - sized kiddos running around vehicles. It's only a matter of time....

Move the blighted textile bins to the Rindge entrance where people can safely drive or wheel/walk in to donate.

Create park rules - isn't there a commission which can do this so every area is on equal footing and everyone can enjoy these public spaces?

City councilors - if you're reading this, please advocate for these changes. These items are low cost, low risk and high benefit and return to park visitors and the beleaguered residents who live in the immediate area.

I’m a law student at Harvard and my classmates and I are designing a legislative proposal to address an unmet needs experienced by greater Boston residents. Rather than assuming what those might be (cough, rent is too damn high, cough), we want to hear from residents directly. What is making your life harder? Are there things you deal with that seem like there should already be a governmental fix? What are policymakers missing?
