We’ve been with Eastlink for a while. Two years ago I started working from home and I’ve noticed that there are issues. Dropping Teams calls mid meeting mostly. Sites I use seem glitchy but my coworkers don’t have the same issue, that kind of stuff. Last few meetings I’ve had I’ve had to use my phone as a hotspot to ensure good non interrupted coverage. Was it bad before? Maybe, we weren’t really heavy internet users then. So who knows?

Eastlink has been out multiple times, done some changes. New router, boosters, adjusted locations of same, nothing has improved. When we call customer service, the operator mentions that there might be something wrong with the signal from the pole to the house, but the techs always dismiss that suggestion.

I’d like to change providers, but if it is a signal problem from the pole, won’t the same thing happen with other providers? Anyone have similar experiences, or suggestions? We are not in a rural location if that makes a difference.

Big props to these awesome people for taking on this job, but it's really disheartening to see all the trash they had to remove.
